My bad, maybe I didn't express it clear, in simple terms, the problem except Scaramouche, is the poor treatment that protagonist has that represent the players, this caused dissatisfaction among many players, so players express their dissatisfactions in communities or under official posts, but mhy chooses to response by delete comments and ban accounts, and said the players express dissatisfied are bots, and this suppressing behavior has further intensified the conflict and problems, and already lost count of how many times mhy this behavior, above is the reasons why players are angry and what the issue is

@@KurumiYT. Thank you for the response! I find it interesting what other parts of the fandom have to say. I generally don't interact with the fandom tbh. But still, I have never seen people being so annoyed with the portrayal of the Traveler. I personally don't even see the Traveler as a self-insert. Oh, and what I meant by "different values" is that the Western fans are discussing the way Mihoyo picks and chooses cultural traits aka is inspired by different cultures but deliberately chooses to make the characters very pale. Meanwhile, the Chinese fans' issues seem a little... silly? I mean no offense at all, it probably is a cultural thing? But yeah, I definitely agree that Mihoyo reacts to all those issues in a very bad, cowardly, and disrespectful way... I did understand that much, but the reason why people were angry didn't make much sense to me. The issue with Scaramouche is also a very polarizing topic in China, while in the West people generally like him.

I'm not Chinese, but the fact that Wanderer was included in the event's story is ridiculous. Even if it is not canon, story-wise, HoYo could've chosen anyone but Wanderer. They could've saved him for something else like Natlan for various reasons especially his atonement for his sins against the victims he has slaughtered and doomed from ever seeing the light of day again. Remember, he had committed war crimes during his time as a harbinger. And now, turning a sharp 180°, he suddenly becomes a "hero" who saves everyone with noble intents each time they are in danger? Did all of those past deeds just get swept under the rug? Wanderer's "redeeming" acts throughout the story are hollowed and unimpactful. The problem is, HoYo just conveniently slides Scara in to masturbate his already degenerate fanboys/fangirls for easy money grab. Fan service that is, serving no purpose in the story, HoYo has made yet another of their famous chars looked bad. It's a matter of taste, I'm not saying you should emphasize with the comments on Wanderer, but HoYo clearly messes up big.

@@drake1326 First of all, Wanderer is not even the same person, Second of all, they choose Wanderer because they think he fits the most in the story or they think they can work more on him, Third of all, he is not even Wanderer before Nahida gave him back the memories, the countless people he killed is not even "his", Fourth of all, the same can be said for Childe, Arlecchino, heck so many characters killed many other people, look at Raiden, oh but she's fine, how so? Fifth of all, he's not even trying to be a hero, he is literally just helping the traveler and their crew from danger, you think he can't do good things because he was a criminal which isn't even himself? You think he should be locked up in a cage? Let me remind you this is not real life and also HE IS NOT THE SAME PERSON TO SCARAMOUCHE, him helping traveler can be seen as him trying to redeem himself, though unlikely, he is doing a good deed. I am not a Wanderer fan in any way but calling him "serving no purpose in the story" is the just plain wrong, you can say the same for Kirara, Nilou, Navia, why are they there? Why them and not someone you like more? It's Hoyoverse's choice and if you don't like it, it's not necessarily wrong it's just that you don't agree. Wanderer's inclusion in the story is fine, it's not a "wrong" decision by any means

@@Astra7Light 1st, it's not important whether it's Scara or Wanderer, it's still the same puppet or maybe..... individual. 2nd, no comment, it's up to HoYo to decide that matter. 3rd, although he was badly influenced by Dottore, he was conscious enough to kill back then. 4th, I've never said it's fine for people like Childe, Arle and especially Raiden to have good image. It's not fine. It's more like.... fan service. 5th, I didn't say Wanderer shouldn't have saved the crew, I was saying he shouldn't be in the story if he didn't contribute much to the storyline apart from serving as a convenient end to Simulanka story. Scaramouche is his real self, Wanderer is simply a more cowardice existence of him. Despite his resilience, he still chose an easy way out to both clear his name off and to make himself relieve off his guilt/regret. Locking him a cage is a bit extreme, I'm certain that he is capable of redemption. Unlike a boring one from the event story, it's either a big one, gradual ones, or nothing, and HoYo put him in between it without the 'gradual'. It's not enough, if they couldn't make up a good redemption story for Wanderer then they shouldn't have put him in there from the very beginning. Wanderer has literally no purpose up until the last acts of the Simulanka. In the case of the other cast members, yes, there are no reasons for them to be brought in the story. However, they have build-ups and momentum in the plot so that even though their existence in the story is irrelevant first, they are able to fill themselves in roles that serve actual purpose in the story. HoYo could've at least introduced Wanderer or slided in some dialogues about him for players to have somewhat of his inclusion in the story, or maybe interactions with him, but they just couldn't bring up to it. His purpose is to be a means to an end in Simulanka, nothing more. Outside his saves and bringing Durin out of his shell, there are almost none 'reedeming' actions from Wanderer. I mean nothing hateful to Wanderer, he should be treated right. I never say I hate him because my fav chars weren't included, I'm just upset that his role is unfufilled in Simulanka from his actions to his existence in the story.

Whether this matter is true or not your own comment already provides the answer, there seems to be some logical issues in your statements, according to your statements, assume the content that's said in this video were fake, then why would those Chinese players be annoyed, so based on your own logic, this matter can only be true, and it indeed is true, undoubtedly it's the behavior of mhy not respecting players that has caused this, the evidence can be found online
