Love your story, I envy you. I was only 9 years old at the time but wish I could have been there. Cherish those memory's with your father. They are the best.

Cool to hear the stories. I knew a guy who was 3 at the time of Woodstock and remembers being there with his Mom.

Imagine getting a beautiful enlightening head start by moving to Bnai Brak at age ten. If our people took that path then, we would be millions and millions stronger in souls.

Come on there were a lot of children at Woodstock & you were not the only 10 year old. I was 11 in 69 and saw many Hippee's bringing their kids to the event. (You can even see that in the movie) (Even one child born there) But all of it was Peace & love and we scared the pant's off the Government w/it!

None of us have seen anywhere near even a quarter of the total film footage and it's obvious numerous children were there, whose ages ranged from toddlers to adolescents. She was among nearly a half million people at eye level. Not possible at age 10 to arrive at such a conclusion. I'm skeptical of her whole story or her recall abilties.

Godzie You went? Cool! My dad was the same exact age as you were then. My uncle was around 9. It was a highly anticipated event, and they thought hippies and their music were awesome, so they both really wanted to go, but couldn't because they were only kids -and they lived only 2 hours from the site by car. After watching the film for the first time this September, my uncle mentioned to my dad over the phone his regret and told my dad that they should've hitchhiked up there, anyway (with a can of beans for food, lol), and brought their friends over, too, but my dad laughed and pointed out that they were only grade-school kids at the time. I told them that I saw a good number of kids and their parents at Woodstock, so they could've went (or not, considering that my grandparents were of the old generation), lol.

Lol. Good question, actually. But if that were me, I would've waited 10 years before saying anything. 😉
