I was born into a Catholic Family and was Baptisted at 2 years old then when i was 7 we moved to the country and I went to a Christian School and was Baptisted again at 8 as a Christian. By the time I turned 16 I had read the bible front to back several times and could never understand how someone could Blindly follow a Religion. And now 52 still an Atheist. Matt you keep saying a universe from nothing is magic and something can’t come from nothing. Then where does God come from? If you use “God is eternal” then why can’t the Universe be eternal? I have a question about creation. You say that atheists wrongly believe that life came from a rock made of non living minerals that eroded and was struck by lightning, causing them to chemically react in a way that formed living molecules, and eventually led to all forms of life today. My question is couldn't the explination for the origins of life that you say atheists believe in and is wrong, actually be the explination of _HOW_ God created man from the dust of the earth? The Bible never says _how_ God created anything, it just says that God created everything in 6 days and rested on the 7th. As far as we know, a day as God defines it could be the same as we define it, it could be the same as what we define a year as, or decades, or millenia, or even longer. Couldn't the scientific explinations for everything that atheists say proves God doesn't exist and you say is wrong, actually just be the explinations of _how_ God created everything, and the length of each day God took to create everything be what we currently define as eons or epochs (millions to hundreds of millions of years)?

It is commanded in Scripture to spread the Word and make disciples of all nations according to Matthew 28:19-20a. Even if we do not, the Gospel will still find its way to them because man cannot hinder God's plans. Proverbs 21:30 atests to this, "There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord". Can people still reject the Gospel after hearing it? Of course. God hasn't made any human a puppet or a robot. Our job as believers is to share the Gospel out of gratitude and love. @@engineergaming3830 All of the horrible things that you listed were not from God. They happened because of original sin going back to the book of Genesis. While there is still good to be found in this world, it is unfortunately tainted with the evil because of sin. God allows us to sin and reject Him to show us the dire consequences of rejecting Him and His commandments that exist for our good. Romans 6:23 says, "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord". God does not force anyone to accept Him and His gift of salvation. Yes, He knew beforehand who would accept Him and His gift of salvation and who would not. He does not force anyone into worshipping or obeying Him because that would not be loving of Him. He wants people to worship and obey Him because they want to, not because they have to. Amen.

Life creating itself has not been shown scientifically, God creating everything has not been scientifically proven either.

I couldn’t have said it better myself and atheists wouldn’t disagree with the nihilistic implications of their secular worldview as in the words of the late William Provine who said the following: “Modern science directly implies that there are no inherent moral or ethical laws and, when we die, we die.” Creation science offers hope. Darwinian evolution (or “modern science” as William Provine would put it) does not. Salvation is simple as Matt Powell explained. There is power in the name of Jesus ✝️

Atheism is not a religion, it does not have a worldview, it does not have an ideology, nor collective mindset. You admit to caring about your feelings and beliefs over what is reality just because you can't accept the harsh truth. And nobody said you can't be happy. You can still believe and be optimistic while knowing the impending gloom. Darwinian evolution is something specific, it's just evolution. Living hinge definitely change over time on this planet.

You can't prove that God and hell don't exist, even to yourself. If you hate God, then you won't be with Him in eternity. It's as simple as that. Psalms 145:20 KJV - The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. Hebrews 9:27 KJV - And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

I mean be realistic here, if there’s no God, than all sense of morality is subjective, meaning that there’s no absolute truth of what’s right or what’s wrong you can base your opinion of Hell on, and believe it or not, it seems that many Atheists are indeed ok with the idea of Hell anyway, as unlike Christians, they seem to go as far as even taking pleasure in the idea of watching the world burn regardless of what they believe, care to explain THAT if Christianity is so hateful for wanting to deliver the lost from that unfortunate fate to eternity with Christ, or is there no absolute truth to explain how it’s moral for an Atheist to take pleasure in the idea of the lost not receiving that deliverance?
