Mom, dad, my brother, and I watched A Christmas Carol every Christmas with all lights out and only our beautiful tree lights on. To this day i still watch it at Christmas. There are so many wonderful values to be learned from this movie.

This is my absolute favorite Christmas tale. I've watched the old George C. Scott version every Christmas Eve night since I was a child and at the age of 34, I still watch it on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as well if I can manage it. I've read the book and I enjoy it just as much 😊

Every year, my city’s rep theater does an adaptation of this and for our family tradition, we see it every year and it never gets old. Also when I was in 7th grade, my class had to read this book and everyone had trouble reading it! However, since I had seen the show every December, I had no problem understanding the story!

Since it was a requirement I didn't quite enjoy it as much because I hadn't truly learned to appreciate the complexities and messages and was more interested in just reading through it and getting my work done as quick as possible. Fifteen years later, it's one of my top three favorite stories ever written
