And the buffet scrumptious! A lot of hard work went into that, I know! Her kitty took all the company in stride...my dad-in-law's kitty ran for the hills when over 20 people came into her house, lol! And Grandpa's letter from heaven ornament brought me to tears again. I'm so glad you all had each other for support during this first Christmas without him

My hubby’s name is Jeff also, my favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story lol & we had the same Christmas thing on our t.v. this morning lol. Also my daughter got new bedding for Christmas as well! 😀 I’m sorry to hear about your shelf & heirlooms getting broken 😔 I wonder if the heat from the candle below the shelf weakened the glass? I’m glad nothing caught on fire when it all fell! On the bright side I’m glad you felt well enough to be able to spend Christmas with your family & is Jeff’s car back to running? Hopefully it was just the battery 🤞

Missy, the candle under the glass heated up the glass and broke it, and the red candle would of have started to burn the wood on the hutch. Same thing happened to someone I know. Lit a candle with a wooden shelf above. Sorry that the treasures broke, but could of been worse if the hutch caught on fire. God bless 🙏😍

Awww...Missy. Im so sorry about your shelf. I can relate....my husband and I collect antique Christmas ornaments. One year, a long time ago, our tree fell over. I was pregnant and my husband was sick with the flu! He got it upright somehow but we lost a bunch of old, cherished ornaments. It's like a punch to your gut. We've dropped a few ornaments over the years too. Made me want to cry! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I'm glad you are all feeling some better!❤❤❤

Your teal hutch is gorgeous! They say super glue & baking soda make a powerful adhesive. Or there may be a special Gorilla Glue to help put your broken pieces back together. Good luck!
