Church hurt is real. A terrible experience. I pray daily that I can erase all the negativity of that horrific experience around me. Some pastors will definitely go to hell. The pastor came to my house and told me and my husband that I will eventually commit adultery in my marriage. Like😮😮😮😮 but my husband told him, I have forgiven her in advance even if it happens . I broken down in tears. I couldn't believe this pastor came to scatter my home

Thank God your husband wasn't deceived by him. I know of a marriage that broke down spiritually till today from various influences of fake or immature Pastors that told the wife that the husband was doing the wife spiritually. She used all her prime seeking various Pastors that will validate the evil prophecies. Today she's very broke with no property to her name after retirement. She still says it is the husband that pushed her spiritually to have encounters with the 100s of Pastors she went seeking to help k*ll or destroy her husband. The husband tried his best taking care of his children, providing her shelter and food but couldn't feel the love of Christ from the wife but hostility. The children are permanently traumatized emotionally.

What you just said about honor and idolatry is spot on! This is the real challenge. Many of us struggle with this balance. Honor them but do not idolize! And the Holy Spirit is one because this same Hebrews 12:2 is what I was led to meditate on as he asked me to focus on him. Too much distraction in the body of Christ in this season. May the lord help us. I pray for healing for anyone who has been hurt in church. May you be reconciled with your father and seen him first and his kingdom setting your eyes on him like a flint, and you will not be put to shame in Jesus name. Amen!

Also I want to add… if you have a great relationship with your earthly father/ mother and they own a company, they employ you to work there and you do so with your skills adding to the growth of the company. Then some of the staff, perhaps the general manager offend you/ hurt you. Would your decision be to leave the company completely? Or would you take a different approach? If you do decide to leave the company on such grounds, can we honestly say the parent who owns the company would be happy with the decision? Just food for thought… again may the Lord heal every broken heart and grant us all understanding 🙏🏽🙏🏽

My own story of church hurt is even from a pastor and his wife ……I went through hell, I’m sure I’ll share this with you one day cos during SMS one on one ……. How could you be telling lies about me in front of the whole church as a married woman, he literally called my name in the church and said XYZ …. Like how on earth 🌍 is that? Until my husband said no no we are done here ….. but that never stop me from loving Jesus cos I later realized they had a bargage they are carrying and they are just transferring that on their members 😢the church is not standing again ……I’m not shaming them tho but some people need therapy but they don’t wanna admit…. I pray they see light 💡

What about a pastor dehumanising workers who fall or fail, and the pastor and church condemn, crucify and judge this worker and send them out, Suspend or disband them.... Church hurts. Know christ for yourself fellowship with God... Associate with like minds serve God.... but I don't necessarily need to commit to a Church once the church hurts me I quickly disassociated with that church no bad blood and look for another bible living church.... Activities isn't salvation.... Yes, I will serve but not at the detriment of my salvation. Thank you for sharing.

First, it’s expedient we remember that the church more like a hospital. Everyone there is either treating people or getting treated. Our Lord Jesus was betrayed by his own “church treasurer”, his assistant pastor as it were denied him thrice. Our resolve should be to stick with the Lord and the principles of the word. Nothing should drive us away from the gathering of believers. Nothing!

Being hurt by a pastor or church member is not the most common problem in the church; rather, it is more common for pastors to use spiritual means to control and manipulate church members. It’s rare to find a pastor or prophet today who does not use some form of spiritual manipulation to control their congregation. Many of them visit spiritualists to get spiritual help to sustain their churches. It’s only when you get close to pastors that you begin to realize the questionable spiritual practices they engage in behind the scenes to maintain their church membership.
@onyinyechin46102 ай бұрын
Please you have to be sure of what you are saying. When you say many, have you seen those many people consulting Spiritualists? Did you go with them? Or are you assuming? As much as Satan has decided to plants weed, there are a lot of good men of God that still operate with the power of God. Don't let your mind accept defeat. There's is a good God and there are still the 7000 Prophets who haven't bowed to Baal.
@TheAdeJohn2 ай бұрын
@@onyinyechin4610 I think you're speaking according to your age and belief in God. You still lack the experience to understand what goes on behind the scenes of Christianity. As you grow older, you'll understand the tricks of the religion. You can continue quoting the bible now. I pray that your eyes eventually get opened. Some of these things come with age and maturity.

Watching for educational purposes.. Was in church yesterday and they were talking about this whole chosen stuff and how believers should stop joining people in making "Mockery" sort of and never get associated with anything that has to do with dragging or questioning any man of God in quote. And I was somehow disturbed. So, does that mean that people should now not be held accountable? As long as they are men of God? Lol. Feels somehow to me. Like, someone is somehow doing what is not right, so as long as you're a believer, and they're men of God, you should just shut your mouth and be looking? Every human is meant to be accountable in my Opinion no matter the status. And people do and undo when they don't. Looking for clarity regarding this.
@Detela_svelte2 ай бұрын
You are right. However, two wrongs doesn’t make a right. To correct a wrong , you don’t mock. You pray if you are not close to the person. You talk gently if the person is in close proximity. Most importantly, let your approach be inspired by the Holy Spirit. Jesting and Mockery is not the way to go. The devil can use that to water down the essence of the subject matter, which is ‘Miracles’
@EstherOghosaGOW2 ай бұрын
People should be held accountable and that can and should be done without mockery and ridicule. Mockery just pushes people farther from the right direction. And in as much as evert human is to be accountable, not everyone is to be accountable to everyone. Accountability is based on authority, relationship, submission All in all, the best we can do is to ask the Holy Spirit on what to do. And He'll direct us
