@evan Anderson. I liked the use of b roll. A lot of times people shoot slow mo as the default. I like the use of still footage. Also he’s a cyclist, so for me the pacing just connected with the movement of riding a bike. I especially liked the editing to the sound design, and the fact that the biker dude is obsessed with sending Craigslist links to bikes to his friends, that really touched me. Great little film. I am a cyclist and a surfer . I saw the surfboards in the back ground . Both sports are great. I have been surfing all my life .and I have been cycling for 7 years . The freedom on the road climbing a mountain is like padding out on a big day when the surf is up . Trying to get through the white wash .and through the impact zone before a big set of waves explode in front of you . Paddling up a mountain road 8 to 9 percent gread. And keeping your pace . When you get too the top ..it is beautiful. Like getting pass the impact zoan and resting on your board for the perfect peak too paddle into . You turn around and paddle into a 30 foot wave . And drop into the face . On your feet making the bottom turn into that big barrel. On your bike going down the mountain road doing 45 to 50 mph on your bike .flying around the tight turns .is like roller-coastering on the face of a big wave . Doing a big off the lip and drop back into the face of the wave . On your bike making tight turns round the mountain bends . All you hear is the wind passing by the sound of your tires on the road . The freedom of attacking every part of the road being one with the bike . Is like being one with the surfboard .attacking every part of the wave . All you hear is the water going past your board . The roaring sound of the way breaking behind you going over the top of your head in the hollow sound I've been in the Barrel a big wave. The freedom you have . Surfing and cycling are a one of a kind sport that works together. When the surf is flat . The road is not . Grab you road bike and enjoy the freedom. Surfing and cycling . Work together. Have a great surf cycling day .
