I get sticking with the A12, but a J16 or L16 the swap would be 100% period correct and the L16 would get you the option of all the 510 hop-up parts.

Youre not wrong! But sourcing / building a hopped up L16 puts her in a whole other realm in terms of budget. Looking to maximize the platform we have in front of us here.

Got my 1200, drove it down from WA with a built head, headers, etc., swapped it out for my SR20 3 months later. Never looked back.
