Seriously. You can literally still see the ramps that go up the sidewalk on the strand. There's also nothing on the seawall. Too many people high on something.

Strand. Always. Floods even in heavy rain. Not. New. Everyone knows that. The. Sub DIVISION areas dont always . This. Storm surge. Did this. So much water with tidals. And. Heavy intense rain added on.

Not at all. It Galveston floods if two people spit in the street. This is a nothing burger. Hurricane Harvey brought is 55" over three days. THAT was bad.

I left Houston after Tropical Storm Allison. Best decision I ever made. The flooding is only getting worse, as is the crime, healthcare, education, state government... Just leave Texas, people. You won't regret it.
