Something I've always admired about the Stupendium is how he's an absolute master of alliteration and assonance, and not just basic rhyme. Take the opening section, for instance. We've got a set of vowels, 'oo' and a schwa, paired eighteen times in quick succession: Who's this true prince nuisance cruise in new fence abusing humans amusement afternoon since boot prints who's been brewing roost, and tutoring community imprudent improvements ruined That's the same stressed OO followed by an unstressed schwa over and over to a matching beat. And it gets even better with the chorus. Count how many times the same long A sound gets repeated. What a foul day, wasted again chasin' waterfowl away We've had it up to 'ere and we're all about to break Livin' in fear of the terror from the lake What a fowl day, wasted again chasin' waterfowl away We'd stuff him full of sage in the oven on a tray But the R.S.P.C.A say the bugger has to stay So we suffer through the fate of another fowl day That's.... day wasted again chasin' away break lake day wasted again chasin' away sage tray RSPCA say stay fate day 19 A-sounds in a row. And somehow he's doing this while also making them all rhyme, not necessarily with each other, and mixing in multiple other rhyming sequences... What a foul day was the first song by the stupindiam that was in real life and my first time listening to it at 7:17 that part took me a while to remember and get all the words right. But that's in most stupindiums songs, fast paced lyrics, great puns and rhymes, and good ideas for games like this to have a song to it.

But for songs like Valut Number 76 or Why did I Say Okie Dokie for example, they're great and I believe can be enjoyed without playing. (Well, maybe some context is needed for the doki doki one.... but still...) Anyway, yeah Stupendium just has some great songs that just get stuck in one's head for months and your reactions are great honestly. Looking forward for more reactions! :)

Speed is being used as an adjective, "to speedily run", so past tense would be speedily ran, so speedran. Spedrun doesn't sound much weirder so it's probably fine to use that too. Also, speedily running would speedrunning so there's a less nerdy explanation for which is correct.

Good call waiting on the Bendy songs until you've played the game. They're definitely some impressive and amazing songs (though I'm sure neither of us would expect any less of The Stupendium at this point) but I will say they're also significantly less comedy driven as the game itself is pretty dark. Don't get me wrong there's some humorous bits and plenty of nice wordplay but it's not exactly framed as comedic as a lot of his other stuff. In any case, go play Bendy! 😁

If you like comedy songs you should definitely check Flo & Joan (maybe not react as I most of their songs to my memory are heavy with language and KZbin hates that. Also most videos you can find as just audio), their not nerd core or any sort of video game related songs, but they are endless funny and all very unique. Might I suggest ‘I Drank Too Much’ as a starting point if you wish to listen (or react).
