12/26/24 Update: Based on some videos from creators with early access, we've learned that Mavuika's plunges have standard ICD. If this remains on release, the non-natlan team of Mavuika/Furina/Xianyun/Bennett is significantly worse and I wouldn't recommend it. However, this does make a plunge melt team with Citlali more promising. 1/3/25 Update: With some proper testing, I wanted to add some more details on Mavuika’s rotations, especially in Citlali melt. Citlali Burst->Skill is fine to use. Also, if you perform 4CA on Mavuika, then jump cancel, you can perform another 6CA and can get four of Mavuika’s charged attacks melted, increasing her damage even more.

despite that being a premium 5 star team, xilonen literally only needs her skill to be lv.10 for the maximum buff (and on 4pc cinder city, stats do not matter.). kazuha and furina may feel hard to build, but if i were you, id farm the fontaine domain for furina and chuck the bad 5 stars into the viridescent venerer strongbox for kazuha (triple em mainstat is the best for him). your best artifact domain option right would be the fontaine domain. since youre running mavuika with furina, you dont actually need to farm obsidian codex. and so youre able to farm for both characters from one domain. (1. this is only what i would do if i were in your place) (2. also make sure youre at least AR50 and have leveled everyones important talents up to max) (3. sorry to have made you read this, but i hope i helped you)

One thing you guys need to keep in mind is that we still have more Natlan characters coming in the future Any of these character can fill in the missing role that present Mavuika team don't have So not having Citlali or Xilonen won't actually kill your Mavuika This is just my guess but for the upcoming Natlan roster Ifa might be a 4* sustain character (hopefully a Pyro healer so we can complete Kinnich team), Iansan a 5* Electro damage dealer and don't forget Varresa too

Yes, honestly Mavuika E off field raw dmg is quite competive to Xiangling Pyronado, it's just Pyro aplication is not as fast, but still better aoe and frequency than Dehya E, She can even play in Burngeon team with full EM set, so excited to try that team

Btw if y’all don’t have citlali or zilonen, you can use pyro traveler with an em based build, the traveler can regen a massive amount of nightsoul points if you use mav E, traveler E and traveler burst to get like half of the points immediately, if your other support/sheilder/healer is a different element you can use the other nightsoul artifact set to gain an elemental dmg boost through an elemental reaction, making the traveler like a dollar tree fusion of raiden and kazuha

One thing we have to admit is that Bennett is a unique existence, stronger than Archons and cannot be replaced both in lore and gameplay, no one recognizes his aura, even gods and sublime existence of Teyvat. It is no coincidence that fate deprived him of his luck right from birth. It was proof that this Universe had chosen him as the only special existence, it is simply the price to pay for his terrible inner strength. I still think we need to wait for Mavuika's release before we can come to any definitive conclusions (as the nature of her performance may vary depending on the type of enemies being faced). However, I'm positive that Mavuika will be seen as the best overall Pyro character upon her release, since she seems strong as both a Main DPS and Sub DPS. The major question is on how restrictive her reliance on Natlan teammates, (Xilonen and Citali) in particular. I really want to see how much of a drop off C0 Mavuika gets when played without Natlan teammates.

yo your spreadsheet at 16:51 is incomplete on a few things. 1. i noticed chiori using HoD instead of cinnebar. Cinnebar almost always procs on both her dolls making it significantly better than HoD (check akasha for proof). I assumed it was omitted because event weapon but emilie got missive. 2. Mav is missing a team here with double cryo + benny. Obviously its heavy circle impact but lets be real, all spreadsheets are meaningless lol. You could have omitted because sucrose>cryo but thought it deserves a mention.

Im thinking of an archon team with her and how it works in rotations. Since Mavuika can generate 90 fighting spirit on her own, I'd say you need to do rotation 2 times to get her burst ready or 4 times if you want it to get it to max That's what I think when you want to use her bike everytime

If you aren't planning to get xilonen or citlali (or another natlan character that can spend night soul points quickly) then don't pull for her, she won't be dealing as much damage and her burst will be quite hard to get(I mean quite hard, imagine xl with no benny and 100%er only)

I got asked about this on reddit aswell But right now , c0 mav + c0 citlali will give you stronger mav teams. Citlali has a lot of practical advantages for dps mav which are hard to replicate without her That being said if future releases provide alternatives to what citlali gives, it will tip the scales in favour of c0r1 So you just gotta take a leap of faith and bet on future potential, or get the both rn to make the best of it right now... personally i am in the c0+c0 camp.

3:33 if her ult lasts 7s, cast animation of around 2s.. but the duration of codex crit rate is only 6s (utilizing only 4s).. does that mean you do not have the codex buff for 3s before the burst ends? Codex requires consumption of nightsoul 11:04

Pull for Mavuika. Mavuika C0 is enough, Archons are all worthy pull, best in what they do apart from Venti, you'll rather pull for Kazuha

In your scenario, I think Mavuika has slightly more pull value because she can be played as a support too. Ideally you have other Natlan characters to pair with her, but you can make her work regardless

as someone who plans to not get Citlali because of pulling priorities being a bit lower, (planning to get memory of dust for Lan Yan when the chronicle wish comes out), my best team I want to run Mauvika with right now for main dps is; -- Mauvika, Raiden, Furina, Bennett, I love my archons, and even if my dmg will be lower, I'll deal with it until I figure out how to get better natlan characters in the future!

this sounds like a cool team if raiden is on fielding! do note that you’ll have a harder time getting mavuika’s burst back since no one is normal attacking in this team (raiden’s is considered burst), but if it’s for pyro app and mavuika support it should definitely work!

just having Xilonen is fine, can play mono-pyro, vape with Yelan for instance, or Chev overload (no XIlonen needed here). you can also attempt to play melt with rosaria/kaeya

What keeps coming up in ALL my calcs, is that even IF there is a Cryo character that can match Furina buffing-wise, or alternatively enough cryo app that Mavuika melts all her meltable hits, losing Furina's personal damage in a team makes it worse, in all the comps I've calced for. What gives? Do you have any insight? All my calcs are C0 with either Earth Shaker or Mailed Flower. EDIT: I looked at the calcs and yea... pretty much. It's a personal thing but Furina just works in her standard build. I'm not always gonna use Citlali with TTDS/Scroll because I'm not into changing builds around to suit the situation, that's tedious. Xilonen has Scroll already, I'm not gonna farm a Petra from scratch for her. For Melt to reach Vape potential, I have to go out of my way to make it happen I guess is what I'm trying to say. The same thing happens with a lot of the support teams mentioned. All my calcs got better results just playing Mavuika/Xilonen/Furina. In the case of Navia, replacing Bennett with Mavuika. Sure Navia's ATK is much lower, but Mavuika vapes off of Furina's damage, Xilonen buffs all of them and fuels Fanfare. In the case of Clorinde, same thing. I don't have Chevreuse or Ororon C6 which maybe changes this? Essentially my point is that putting Mavuika/Xilonen/Furina on any team will clear. Qiqi mains rejoice.

I think just like your reasoning with changing builds that's tedious, getting Citlali will make Furina free for teaming with Neuvillette etc etc... as I don't think we'll gonna get a second Furina like character ala Yelan/Xingqiu situation. So there's only 1 Furina to be shared amongst your 2 teams on abyss. It's more of a convenience to get Citalali imho to free Furina for other teams (at least for now).

is emilie a good option for the 4th slot in mualani's team with mavuika and xilonen? i mean, she can help keeping the pyro aura on enemies and make sure mualani's attacks will vaporize, and she also has good personal damage. but is it worth it without bennett or pyro resonance?

She’s worth it. Her damage will be good enough and the only other fourth slot I can see going there is Citlali or Xiangling.

@@Chopsparillo yeah i don't think i'll be pulling for citlali and i want to avoid using xiangling for some reasons like possible ER problems without bennett and pyro resonance not benefiting mualani, but mainly because i'm so tired of using xiangling i just wanna retire her lol. i discarded other options like candace cause mine is c6 and kazuha cause the rotation might be too tricky, so i think i'll stick with emilie

What of mavuika C2, will still need a nstlan character to be a very good support or DPS? Can her C2 work well with Arlecchino vape team??? Arlecchino + Mavuika C2 + yelan + zhongli. (Mavuika will be holding the support artifact from natlan)

For support she can burst on her own thanks to her C1. She gains 130-150 fighting spirit from her tap E skill alone, and If your main dps is an NA spammer like Clorinde or Arlecchino, she might burst fully (near 200 fighting spirit) without any Natlan character. As a main dps she still needs a Natlan character to burst every rotation.

Unfortunately I just have 212 Wishes so I don't think I can get Mavuika and Citlali. Because of that Iam so grateful that you made this Guide. I have one question: In a team with Mavuika as Main DPS together with Citlali and Bennett can I use Kazuha instead of Succrose or will it make the team much worser?

There's one issue with the primal rotation, when you'll use mavuika skill at first the bis passive will be activated and it can only be retriggered after 10 seconds, will our supports really take 10 seconds to use skills/ult lol, i just wanted to confirm, because if they're faster than 10 seconds you can't trigger her bis passive while using burst

Are you talking about her BiS artifact sets? If you are, where did you see there's a 10s cooldown on any of the effect?

her BiS weapon says at the end that if Mavuika is in Nightsoul's Blessing (she will be after using skill), the buffs it gives are increased AND the duration of it won't decrease when she's off-field. So, the buffs will be there

The Mualani / Mona / Mavuika team calc is a bit lower than it should be because by changing the rotation and giving Mona ttds so Mavuika can use her burst with omen and ttds buff (basically doubling her dmg) it is more dmg than one extra Mualani CA getting the omen buff.

Hmm the only dps natlan char i seem to possess is kinich now if we pair mavuika with him and putting cinder city on her , i could get a support build for her but other thing i wanna try is to put codex on both her and kinich , do it like this Mavuika e -> kinich e-> bennett q -> dehya q and finally -> mavuika q dps phase , double carrying both would be difficult at c0 but if i go for c6 the clunkiness would disappear Only bad thing is kinich is bad at producing nightsoul points , after entering his skill he produces around 100 nightsoul points .which is barely enough. . And I don't want to pull for citlali Some suggestions might help

I can't understand everything because I just returned week ago but since I've pulled on Neuvillete because most people say he's strong DPS so in connection to the video I was wondering if I form a team of Neuvillete as Main DPS, Zhongli as Shielder (for comfort reason), Mavuika as Off field DPS, and Xiang ling as another Off field DPS would be good as Melt team or in general

it works, but I recommend playing Mavuika DPS as a second team. Then you'll have two strong DPSes on two teams

my abyss team team 1 yae , kokomi , emily , yanfei team 2 zhongli , raiden , kusanali & neuvi would mavuika make a doable addition to this ik my teams arent set up properly pls help i like to play as if im afk . you can tell by my chars. i love that neuvi maintains a distance from the enemies i think mavuika will help with vape for him better than xiangling cuz xianglings burst needs to be a little closer to enemies to hit while circling right?

if you're committed to the "afk" style, I think Mavuika will be better in the top team replacing Yanfei. also, consider using Fischl over Emilie since that team doesn't have much burning uptime

mavuika wont proc scroll because she needs to proc a reaction, and the point is her higher skill uptime wont let you establish an aura which she could react on

It works in the first rotation. Basically, for Cinder City to proc, you need to apply dendro before pyro as Mavuika has to be the one to trigger the reaction. The problem lies in that burning maintains the pyro aura, and Mavuika can't react with pyro since she is pyro lol, so Emilie will keep triggering burning instead since she can react with it.

Obsidian codex is just a crit rate stat set. Her best relics set will be crimson witch of flames if you are lucky enough to get decent crit rolls. I personally would go with 2pcs crimson and 2pcs obsidian

the point of artifacts is that they give stats, 40% crit rate is a lot of stats

@Vomfee players rolled 80 crit rate on substats long before obsidian. My point is that if you are lucky enough to get a decent amount of crit on a different artifact than obsidian, you should go for that

@@1LEETLAND thats 16% crit rate on a piece on average.. even if you are somehow lucky enough to have that, thats still bad cause if you have this much rolls on crit rate it means you dont on the other important stats like crit dmg, atk or em so you if anything should swap artifacts to have less crit rate and more of the other stats

If you don't pull for Citlali, would Layla be a decent option? Since I used to main her (Odd, I know), She was GREAT in Melt and Freeze teams, would she be good here as well? aside from giving fighting spirit.

teams like double cryo without citlali can work (don't think solo cryo Layla is enough), but you lose a lot of damage without her, and unless you have xilonen as the last slot, as you mentioned you'll have fighting spirit issues

Im using kazuha national Can i use bennet kazuha and xiangling and her and still be a good team? i don't need any high numbers that insta erases enemies i just want a team who can clear the abyss. Or just don't pull her

As a Yoimiya main, I don't need any of them for meta. Mavuika to me is just fun. My C1 Neuvillete clears enough that Yoimiya can do the abyss easily.

typically used as a support weapon, and it won't give much atk since you're not building full EM Mavuika. likely better to use the other weapons
