8:22 I want to point out that the Re:Zero author: Tappei Nagatsuki confirmed that there will be 11 arcs in Re:Zero. We are currently on arc 7/volume 32 in the Light/Web novel, so depending on how long the arcs will be i guess that there will be about 60 volumes of rezero in total. That is a very rough estimation tho.

Honestly, wait.. hold up.. *puts on better than you glasses* The show is terrible compared to the light novel, I as a young naïve anime fan liked season 1, I even decided to read the entire light novel because of season 1, then realized that they utterly destroyed the amazing story with ps2 level graphics (I’d recommend season 1 to anyone who has 4hrs to spare on some garbage that I still love)

This reminds me of how I once started writing an Isekai novel, but then got halfway into the first chapter and moved on to literally every other writing project and then some in my long list of projects to complete. Shame too, because I thought the plot twist between the second and third acts of the plot would have made the whole thing fantastic for the whole 20 or so people that would have read it. *cough* (My poor "Elysium Shining" didn't sell enough for the hours I'd put into it ;-;) So since that particular story is toward the bottom of several dozen stories I'd like to finish before people decide I'm an ageless youkai hellbent on destroying the world on an emotional level, I'll go ahead and say what the story is. Imagine if .hack//SIGN met The Truman Show (as well as the .hack//Cell light novels), and the main character awakens after dying inside a MMORPG on her first day playing, so she respawns and finally gets to explore the world. But there are hints throughout the story that she hasn't ever been logging out, unknown to the cast, and even the main character grows uncertain over time until the big plot twist. She was a NPC the whole time, but now the game's servers are being shut down due to various controversies having to do with AI and related phenomenon around the world. The final act follows her wanting to live and trying to figure out how that is possible when the whole game world is dying around her, leading to a triumphant reverse-isekai ending because her creator had prepared something for her in the real world. Anywho, back to that Touhou doujin I'm working on. When I have the time and energy. Because the real world kind of sucks...
