In This Video, I will give my honest review of one of the worst anime of the Spring 2023 Season Kizuna no Allele. My content is satire in nature and while it may sound like I disliked the anime it's mostly bad jokes. I will be talking about what makes it one of the most popular anime of the season ... by insulting everything about it. Season 1 of this anime was released on Apr 4, 2023. This anime is renewed for another season. There is no manga or light novel since this is an anime original. This video contains Major spoilers so be aware if you plan on watching the anime. This anime is not currently available in the English dub.

You know what would make a good VTuber anime? An Anime that talks more about the behind the scene of being or producing a VTuber. Not necessarily like Oshi no Ko, but more in the vein of Bakuman, where someone wants to become a popular VTuber, but has to learn what is actually required to be one in the first place (resources and strategy) and how to entertain an audience and keeping their attention via trial and error.

There are a lot of stories "behind the scenes" like that. Like Bakuman and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki for manga, Shirobako for anime, Sore ga Seiyuu for dubber, Imouto Sae Ireba Ii for Light novel, and all of them are good.

It would also be cool if they tackled other aspects of KZbinr/Vtuber culture, such as parasocial relationships, trying to stay relevant, a Vtuber’s camera personality vs their real life personality, toxicity online, and dare I say, getting cancelled. (I don’t know how prevalent cancellation is in Japan, but it would at the very least, be hillarious).

I find it wild how there's two anime about vtubing either out already or coming, the one this video is about and VTuber Legend. And before you ask "But Virtual-san Looking is a vtuber anime" I'll say that I don't count that that one for the purpose of this comment as the cast is literally existing vtubers (though some have since retired due to their agency shutting down), while Kizuna no Allele and VTuber Legend are stories based on the concept of vtubing. Virtual-san Looking is effectively no different conceptually from all the animations Hololive puts out
