Not only has there been "very little progress," as Davis says here, but there has actually been regression, particularly since about the year 1980.

wonderful... too bad such talks get relegated to the academy. When I was young they were more commonly available across classes and stations of living... but there has been a concerted effort to shrink what is considered and offered in public education and in the mainstream. Perhaps one always had to seek them out, but it seems even more convoluted a process to land on such inspiring "talk". I think that has been purposeful

As I expected, great questions and great answers and important emphasis on how whites have manipulated the fear factor to control and suppress natural disgust with an unfair extremely bigoted system. Franz Fanon wrote an entire guide to defeating this cycle of oppression through fear and confinement utilized by whites in the 1960s. Vote for not great but perfect America. Andrea Flynn from the Roosevelt Institute- it's all about economics. Thank you for the upload.

When you say whites, maybe you know or don’t know.....but the elites of the world control agenda and policy. Sad as it is our politicians are easily manipulated by bribes or blackmail. They’re more powerful today than ever and they are flipping us as we sit at home virus bound. See the 4th industrial revolution. See Sophia, the first robot with citizenship in Saudi Arabia.

It has always amazed me that most defenders of the status quo, resent the idea of wealth redistribution! What do they think capitalism does? The statistics Miss Davis mentioned, is indicative of how extreme the distribution of wealth has become. Redistribution is an absolute must, if we are to address the inequalities that exist in our country and the world. The people with the most resources and who produce most of the wealth, must accept an inordinately minor portion! How is that just?

No communism is nothing like fascism. Communists were the first group the Nazis went after in Germany. Fascism has a long history of being a reactionary movement against leftists. Your analysis is seriously lacking in nuance. "Yes, I am a communist, and I consider it one of the greatest honors because we are struggling for the total liberation of the human race." - Angela Davis
