Andrew has the intelligence and technological foresight to move us forward! Elizabeth has the economic grip and scholarly wisdom to traverse our bureaucratic battles! Bernie has the conviction and bravery to fight for the American people since day 1 even when no one else stood with him! Marianne has the fiery heart and soul of america, and its spirit to heal its historic and moral ills! All great candidates. We were robbed by the establishment!

The UBI is key. The Republicans dominate with non-college-educated voters. When you mention free college, you lose them. When you talk college debt forgiveness, it drives them away. The beauty of a UBI is someone can pay for college or pay off their college debt with UBI money. A farmer can buy a new tractor. A homeless person can get off the streets. A single mom can help her kids with school by not working two jobs. Some Progressive ideas are great, but others are seen as an overreach and drive people away. If Democrats embrace UBI they WILL win back many of those Republicans who are frustrated with the system.

Then you mention “free college” you should lose everyone because it’s 2020 and KZbin is free........ All I have to do is go to google , look up UCLA curriculum for whatever I want to learn, find all said courses online and get right into the workforce- Government is delayed as always.... private sector has already figured out that and is making private education to be the front runners of the future of education.

This is the UBI libertarian view. I believe that is the best way to present UBI including the restructuring of the welfare system.

27:40 "Money is not as powerful as energy or excitement" - One of the most significant things that happened in 2020 is something that everyone forgets (and the fact that we forget it is significant). Remember Michael Bloomberg? Spent a record QUARTER-BILLION on his presidential campaign, yet it crashed and burned, and is now forgotten?

They Should run for president TOGETHER. Like straight out of the gate in the primaries, say Marianne will be president and Yang will be your VP. Marianne would be the BEST 1st Woman President to go down in the history books, and I would love to not see that be Kamala or Hillary.

I'm curious to understand why Marianne Williamson was all alone in supporting Bernie Sanders for president. A lot of us were shocked and extremely disillusioned when Andrew Yang, on suspending his own campaign, immediately jumped on the Biden train. All of the former candidates did the same, except for Williamson. How will Yang be a bridge-builder if he won't stand up for Progressive people as much as he says he stands for progressive principles?

Yang believed Bernie could not win. Bernie's failure in the Democratic primary proved Yang right. If you believed Bernie would lose to Trump and you call yourself a progressive, you owe it to yourself to think hard about who you put your weight behind. You're not standing up for progressive principles by pursuing a course of action that you deep down believe is going to hand the fascists another term.

I think the more honest way of putting it was that right after Andrew withdrew from the Primary he made no move to endorse another candidate because he was being his pragmatic self and wanted to see which way the voters would lean by saying the moment one of the remaining candidates picked up on his primary policy proposal of UBI he would be behind them. No one ever did during that month afterwards. While he made it clear that he supported Bernie in 2016 he was disappointed that Bernie remained stuck on the FJG proposal in 2020. Bernie had to sell his ideas as even further leftist because the field was full initially but he made it very hard for himself to move into the realm of possible as the number of competitors narrowed which was a major bummer for so many of us who support a lot of his ideas. Then once the primaries got to a certain point it was clear via the math that Bernie would not be the nominee Andrew Yang endorsed Biden in hopes of helping dems provide a United front against tRump because to Andrew that removal was of primary importance. 🧢
