This video in itself is a powerful testimony. I pray for all who had a hand in this show and Brother and Sister Dirks, Lee being and doing you. God Bless.

The one thing I can truly say about Bryan Wolfmueller is that he is a Pastor, and I mean a real Pastor. Thank you so much Pastor Wolfmueller for all that you do. Although we have never met, you have had an enormous impact on my life over the last 5 years and I, along with so many, have been blessed through you. Praise be to God for faithful Pastors and Teachers of the Word.

I love how for a huge part of this video Pastor Wolfmueller is answering them with the words of Luther’s Small Catechism. That little book is one of our most treasured gifts. It’s my prayer that we including me, use it more in our daily lives.

So cool that a few minutes into the video I forgot that Bethany is well known by many. I say that because the focus was on Jesus and not her story, except for the quick intro. Just recently a guy locally posted a video asking people to pray from a heart of gratitude, and then this video. Praise to God! Thank you, Bryan, for using technology for God's glory!!!!

Both you and Bethany have survived vicious predators. God be praised for your recovery and her survival. It’s lovely to see such a young couple committed to the truth. Thank you for this masterful re-telling of the gospel story. New facets are revealed in every discourse.

It is wonderful to hear things that reflect the theology of Martin Luther. It pleases me that I had that influence many years ago as a child in a Lutheran Christian Day School. I am thankful that Grace has been expressed as you speak in this setting. It is fun to reabsorb this sense of total redemption. Thank you for your enthusiastic expression of Grace.

Pastor Wolfmuller, I really appreciate your videos. I find you to be a great advocate of the LCMS. After watching some of your videos, I have begun reading the Lutheran small catechism. I’d really like to hear some additional commentary on the Apostles’ Creed. I am specifically referring to the area where it claims Jesus went to hell. Now, I understand the rational behind the thought. However, in my study, I don’t feel like the evidence leads to that conclusion. For example, while on the cross, Jesus tells the thief that he will see him in heaven that day. Also, Jesus cries out to the father that it is over. It seems to me that he is referring to the suffering/baring our sins. If it’s over, I can’t wrap my head around the need to go to hell. Now, I have attempted to read about the reasoning about the statement. It appears that the justification is found in one of the epistles; where it suggests Jesus went to hell to preach to lost souls. Could you make a video on this topic? I’d really like to see some evidence for the claim in the gospels. Thanks!

I don't know if you've watched it, but Pastor Wolfmueller made a video on that very topic; The descent of Jesus into hell (5 years ago). I watched it, and though I wasn't looking for 'evidence', I still found it extremely honest and informative. Hope this helps.

Yeah I heard them ask twice what are the gifts of grace, but never heard the sacraments as the answer...
@markhorton39944 жыл бұрын
What denomination are Bethany and Adam Dirk? If they are not confessional Lutheran discussion of the sacraments would lead to disagreement. That kind of dissention would spoil this video. The sacraments certainly are a fit topic of discussion, but on another video.

Maybe put the best construction on it? There could have been more conversation off camera? You know there is no lack in Pr W’s teaching on any of God’s gifts. Thanks be to God for the sacraments and all God’s mercies to us.
@timvance98394 жыл бұрын
I would consider that the worst construction if these devilish idiots edited out the sacraments and the Rev still endorsed and promoted the conversation. I think you owe him an apology 😊
