RECORDING: A Conversation With Thomas Hübl and Drew Dellinger: On Embracing Interconnection for Healing Trauma

- Conversation: 3:27
- Audience Q&A: 55:39
DESCRIPTION: We are all connected―and we are all dependent on each other and the world we live in. Yet, even though technology has allowed us to virtually share our lives with more people than ever, the result has been a growing pattern of personal isolation, alienation, and division. Why? According to renowned teacher and author Thomas Hübl, we are seeing the manifestation of collective trauma.
Join Thomas and internationally known speaker, writer, poet, and teacher Drew Dellinger for an empowering conversation on healing our world through understanding our interconnectedness and healing our individual, ancestral, and cultural trauma. Thomas shares insights from his work and his latest book, Attuned, which examines how our world’s profoundly complex challenges demand a new level of human collaboration.
In his latest book and in his work, Thomas discusses the relational field through which we transmit and receive experiences, hopes, fears, and dreams within the collective. By embracing our interdependence, we can activate what is needed to respond and evolve through the challenges of our age. We must use transparent communication to enliven and deepen our relationship with all beings. “It may take only a small number of us,” writes Hübl, “to establish a new level of collective coherence―to share our light, heal our wounds, and realize the unawakened potential of our world."

MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES
We hope that our events provide opportunities for growth, and that our audiences will use them as a starting point for further introspection. Many of the topics discussed in our events have the potential to bring up feelings and emotional responses. If you or someone you know needs mental health care and support, here are some resources to find immediate help and future healing:
🌿 Visit 988lifeline.org or text, call, or chat with The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline by dialing 988 from anywhere in the U.S. to be connected immediately with a trained counselor. Please note that 988 staff are required to take all action necessary to secure the safety of a caller and initiate emergency response with or without the caller’s consent if they are unwilling or unable to take action on their own behalf.
🌿 Visit thrivelifeline.org or text “THRIVE” to begin a conversation with a THRIVE Lifeline crisis responder 24/7/365, from anywhere: +1.313.662.8209. This confidential text line is available for individuals 18+ and is staffed by people in STEMM with marginalized identities.
🌿 Visit translifeline.org or call (877) 565-8860 in the U.S. or (877) 330-6366 in Canada to learn more and contact Trans Lifeline, who provides trans peer support divested from police.
🌿 Visit www.ciis.edu/ciis-in-the-worl... to learn more and schedule counseling sessions at one of our centers.
