This is a part of my Seoul neighborhood guide series and we are exploring Euljiro today! A true mix of the old and new modern Seoul, which so many things to see and eat and explore, I truly love this cool part of town.

Birria is a stew. Birria Taco is meant to be dipped into Birria Stew. I'm a born and raised Texan and visit Mexico City often during the summers (to escape summer heat). For Korea, the taco's didn't look too bad. But for Texas standard, they need to step up their game lol.

I'm an avid fan of Kdrams, that's all I watch...besides YOU . I want to hire Anna to be my tour guide... seriously. You should have bought the red dress, that was really neat. Anna, you'll meet someone nice. Give yourself time, stay picky as to whom you date.

Anna, thank you for sharing much of the history of the area where you reside, I find it so very interesting. My uncle was 18 years old American soldier when he fought in the Korean war, and we are very proud of him. That tacos did not look bad, but all things considered because I live in the Los Angeles area where we have amazing tacos. Here authentic Mexican tacos are made with corn tortillas and not flour which makes a big difference in the taste. I look forward to your next video.

It seems like with younger Koreans, they covet exclusivity and being "in the know" and showing thatvoff on social media etc so Im not surprised the cafes and stores are completely unmarked. Theyre smart and is done very purposefully. They know social media from the younger Koreans will bring people in and the whole mystique is an appeal for those hunting it down and feeling like its fancy and exclusive and they feel special they found this "hidden gem" thay not everyone passing by on the street can just walk into. Its very on-trend for younger generations of Koreans and that culture that is very much about social media etc. I wouldn't doubt if they charge a bit more for their goods and people would willingly pay it bc they feel its even more fancy and exclusive then. Lol.

Kamsahamnida. Hello Cool girls guide Anna. Stay with these utube videos as opposed to shorts and Tik tok. I like your style, your tour guides through Korea a country i have a lot of respect for. I'm one for listening to the history of the sights and places. I also like hearing the pronunciation of Korea words as I'm studying the language not actively at the moment, but I'm big on oral learning, listening, speaking the language. Lets go Anna, Korea here we come. Stay Pretty Anna. Kamsahamnida. From Aotearoa New Zealand.

Having such hard-to-find places would never work in the US. I think it's cool that you can still have these hidden-away spots that people will actually go to, but most - at least in north america - I think would just not bother hunting for a door that isn't on the street. This sort of thing could work in New York or LA, but I doubt it'd find much success anywhere else in the US.

A really well done tour, even if it felt like a walk through a blast furnace. Yes I have watched vlogs from Singapore, Japan and South Korea, just Korea have I seen scissors used to cut the noodles. The 2nd taco, is typically a stewed style of meat with a lot of seasoning, in Mexico this would usually be a wet taco, lots of liquid.
