Never knew how much subscriber meant to a youtuber until I recently started my own channel. i feel bad because I watched Teddy and others for years without subscribing. I had no idea that it makes such a difference because I was still watching every day.

That is a pretty nice looking watch. I had heard the brand name before, but now I am going to look into them. I'm heading to their site now. The American assembly definitely is something that speaks to me as an American consumer. The bracelet is quite impressive. I think a nice compromise between the NH35 and a Swiss movement would be the Miyota 9015, for a bit of that high beat smoothness. I like that you're throwing in these reviews occasionally, mixed in with your normal content. It keeps things interesting. I don't know if you're established enough for this, but I think purchasing watches (which may be of high interest right now) for review, and then selling them later (even if there's a bit of a loss) would be cool. I'm not talking crazy high end watches, but stuff in the $2,500 and under range that more of us may be able to save up to get in a reasonable amount of time. Also, I do enjoy hearing Courtney's view on the watches, so we need more of that. Other content that would be great includes mother's day watch gift ideas (for wife and/or one's mom), father's day watch list, gift ideas for both men and women for Christmas (by early November). I think those should be done every year. I know you've done some of those before, but I want to always see them.

Hi Teddy! I just got a tag carrera 5 ref war211b-4 for my 21st birthday. I absolutely love its look and am so happy as its exactly what I wanted and more. I know relatively little about watches as this is my first but I've been reading a bit online and have noticed there's quite a lot of people who don't think particularly highly of tag heuer. I am starting to understand this a bit more but still can't fully gauge why. Can I ask what your honest opinion of tag is and what you think of my model specifically? Love your videos, thanks!

Warren, First things first happy belated birthday. Im a little late so you should be up for another one soon. The Tag Carrera 5 is a great watch from a well known swiss company and you should be proud of what you got. Alot of people tend to hate on tag because they charge a pretty penny for some of their quartz models and their watches dont hold value particularity well; however, that can be said for a great many brands that dont get the same amount of hate. If you look around you will find just as many Tag fans as their are haters but its useually the haters who are louder. Dont ever let other peoples opinons make you second guess your watch. Wearing a watch is all about wearing whatever you like because it makes you feel good. Its not about other peoples opinions. Also in the real world no one cares what brand watch you have on it could be a 50 dollar watch or a fifty thosand dollar watch and no ones going to know the difference. Its easy to get a distorted sense of reality when you look at watch videos or read blogs like so many of us do on here. Congrats on a great watch, take care of it and yourll still have it on your 90th birthday.

If I see the sideview of the watch at 3:56, it looks as if the lugs have been put on at a later point. The lugs also seem to be overlapping the side of the bezel. Doesnt look nice... A bit like a pocketwatch on which they soldered lugs.

Any chance you're planning to release some 21mm? Although this is an odd size, I now I have 4 watches with this lug width (IWC Chrono, Frederique Constant Flyback Chrono, JLC Polaris Chrono, and an incoming JLC Ultra Thin Moon). It seems like a lot of the major brands are doing this odd size.

Why should I buy a NH35 movement watch at $400 while I have choices within that price much nicer looking Swiss pieces like Tissot, Certinas even in Jomashop? With local watch regulator they can perform immensely with 1-2 seconds + -. The loom is poor compared a dive watch and it is noticeable that Nodus has well spent on the bracelets and clasp.But if factory regulated accuracy then I am sorry.

It isn’t factory regulated, it’s regulated by the guys themselves. By the way, the lume is quite good-I own two Nodus watches.

Just picked up the blue Avalon. The fit and finishing of the watch is fantastic. Only problem is there is TOO much lume!
