While you were basking in the sun drinking your cuppa it reminded me of a word . Every day I try to learn a new word , as our English vocabulary is shrinking and there are so many beautiful words long forgotten that we need to start using again . One of those words is "" apricity "" which means the bit of warmth that one feels on their skin on a cold day , when you turn your face to the sun and soak it in ! Lovely vlog! The countryside in autumn looks much like where I live in eastern Kentucky, USA. Of course we don't have those iconic grey stone buildings which I love to see in your vlogs, but we do have rolling hills and gorgeous fall colors. Hannah you should try visiting Batsford Arboretum in the next couple of weeks while the trees are at their most vibrant, it's less than 10 mins drive from Moreton on Marsh, I think they allow dogs although you might lose Roo as she camouflages with the leaves! Stroud looked great, we keep meaning to visit.

Thank you for showing more beautiful places in the Cotswolds . I was born and brought up in Avenging right next to Princess Anne’s Gatcombe Park. There is a walk that runs parallel with Gatcombe Park. Dog friendly . The Ragget Cot pub is a great place for lunch or dinner. So much more to the Cotswolds than Daylesford . Tetbury Stroud Painswick Minchinhampton where my parents live now is super pretty and some fabulous shops .Tetbury westonbirt .

Hi Hannah, if you haven’t been, I think you’d really like The Close at Tetbury. Very similar vibes, and they do a delicious veggie roast - a butternut squash wellington. Not sure it’s vegan though… 🤔 Still worth checking out for drinks, and they have a cafe area of sorts where you can get coffee and cake. The whole place is beautiful with a lovely, big back garden with outdoor seating that is more of a stately home-type setup than a pub. It’s upmarket while at the same time informal.

My son is autistic and terrified of dogs even after therapy. He is 26 and as most pubs seem to be dog friendly now it is quite nice to know that we can take him to places like the pig without worry. Some dog owners let there children parade their dogs around pubs and restaurants and can be really rude when told to keep the dog on a lead. Not all pet owners take into consideration that not everyone likes dogs and we have had many meals ruined by it.
