If you want to see a portrait of real America, listen to country music. I have noticed while watching several different reaction videos that they all seem to gravitate towards country music and seem to adopt the message that country music artists convey. More than any other genre of music, it is country music that conveys the true American spirit!

@@loveloreI like 70s rock and country, 80s country, 90s country and rock, 2000s rap and rock, 2010s rock(a little rap), and 2020s... I guess rock? Songs have lost their soul recently. It is all just dance music, but none of the kids dance... Music is going through a dry spell, as well as politics. Politicians have nothing that they can improve, so they just add things to make themselves important. Except we don't need them, and all they do is cause harm.

Growing up in the great state of Alabama home of HWSr. This song is a staple that every Southern boy learns early in life because it truly express's exactly how we live and who we are ,a anti government, self sufficient people who fear God and respect family and the land . Thank you for covering brother Bocephus and i hope you enjoyed it ✌ & ♥

Country people are the ultimate preppers who aren't preppers. I grew up hunting and fishing, running traps and trot lines and prepping never crossed my mind until recently with all the crap thats going on. But country folks have a huge head start when it comes to prepping ,we learned over time how to acquire food and tricks when camping that also help with prepping. I love being a Texan!!

You really need to go down the rabbit hole of Hank Williams Jr. His father, Hank Williams Sr was Country Music royalty. Original country. He died when Hank Jr was a toddler and Hank Jr grew up to be like his dad but then changed into his own kind of music, more rock country. He’s a rebel, bold, told off Hollywood Country Music awards and is very respected by country music fans. He fell of a mountain top while hunting and almost died, ripped up his face badly and had a major change after surviving it. Went his own way after that. Love his music.

Thank you for jumping through the hoops to be able to react to this song! It highlights the best folks in our country. Southern and country folk are more community minded and go out of their way to help each other... Another good Bocephus (Hank's nickname) song is "Family Tradition". Thanks again and thanks for the mention :)

This Song Tells The Truth that's for sure. Country People Can Survive. It's not just the Hunting, Fishing part. We know how to Fix our on stuff, like also putting in Well Water Pumps. We can Grow & Can our food, & On & On. We also Help Each Other Doing These Things Which Helps Us All To Survive. When Shit Hits The City People Will Die & Try To Make it Down Here To Take Away & We Have What It Takes To Take Care Of That Also. Just A Sad Fact.

Hank Sr.- country music royalty in the eyes of everyone, and deserved. Hank Jr.- country music icon/legend, and well deserved. If you and your fiancé are still planning on moving to south, the place where country music calls home it’s well worth looking into the lives of both Hanks. They are held in very high regard by most southerners and country music fans and it’s very interesting.

As others have said, Hank Williams, Sr. is a country music legend. After you listen to him, maybe Your Cheatin' Heart, you should listen to Jr.'s "Family Tradition". There is also a Hank Williams lll who sounds so much like Sr. it's uncanny. There is an album called The Three Hanks where Sr. is incorporated into the songs. Simply amazing. Jr. sang the theme song for Monday night football from 1989 until he was canceled for saying derogatory things about Obama and Biden in 2011. It's called All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight. There is a great video for that song. He has a later song called All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down. I could gush on him more, but I will refrain 😊.

I grew up in Northern California we went hunting got books how are you we would freeze venison that's deer meat make venison jerky also went fishing got trout and salmon don't really have catfish in Northern California got got them down South! I had relatives and friends of my relatives that were down in Texas as southern Kansas and they caught catfish and crawdads people would eat possums and maybe raccoons and list of southern culture. I spent the years from the 3rd grade in elementary school through what in some places is called middle school to high school living in a small area that wasn't even a town we had to drive 2025 miles to get to the nearest town. But we will go into the county see for the capital of the county that was on the coast we could go to the docks when the fishing boats come in families got together and bought bought great oh tuna and fresh crabs and we would spend evening afternoons and evenings on these days playing fish boiling and cracking crab freezer some of it canning the fish and freezing them one time we even went to a farm and got a dozen crates of freshly slaughtered chicken came back and spent the afternoon and evening boiling plucking the feathers off of chickens cutting them down and freezing them some of them boning the meat off the chicken freezing it. We would go by find the beef half a dollar in cow go to a butcher and have them caught up and made ground beef and the role and the stakes even got pork pick me I had pork chops and bacon all the cups from that animal freshly cut packaged up for us and frozen. Someone killed a bear once I didn't like bear meat tasted too strong dear me yes good had elk meat once that's too strong places where you can kill moose that's awful too strong for me. I know some people that even raise rabbits for me never ate rabbit try it once didn't care for it. Gotta corrects you on some things San Francisco is not Southern California it will take us around six hours to drive from Humboldt County California down to San Francisco or cut across past Clear Lake and go to Sacramento both considered Northern California but the culture is still different! But the history is does San Diego CA as far South as you can get north of San Francisco Sacramento was conquered and taken over by the Spanish from San Francisco Sacramento north that part was originally part of Oregon territory which was broken up to make at least five states Northern California Oregon Washington at two or three other states we're basically turquoise of Britain Canada before they do the official borders. You said you look at history the Lewis and Clark expedition went from the eastern United States clear through Indian territory and Oregon Washington Northern California and California and Oregon and Washington were states way before most of the central part of the country were states.

Great reaction, love the special guest appearance as well. Still requesting you do a reaction to "Some Gave All" by Billy Ray Cyrus. Us vets appreciate that song for sure.
