That foraging class looks like fun! I work outside here in the US so I’ve learned a lot about our edible flora. Right now is American persimmon and black walnut season. My coworker and I plan to go harvest some American persimmons tomorrow and I have my eye on making a very old fashioned recipe for a persimmon pudding.

The kitchen looks amazing! ~ so fresh and bright, and I love the natural colours. Your new windows in the period style make all the difference...much more homely and fitting for the period of the house, and they'll keep you warmer through the Winter. It may sometimes seem slow with these projects, but lovely old traditional built houses have a habit of throwing up issues that demand bespoke solutions that take a lot of time to get right. I'd love to see a kitchen completion celebration when it's finished! x

Wow, nice to see your visit to Bantham. It is a lovely place especially when we get some good surf. I love watching the swans float about in the estuary up the river near the boathouse and yes, floating down the river is fun on a calm day. The trip that you went on looked very full on and arranged with activities. It was nice to see you taking some time out to chill out when you needed to. Hope you had a chance to visit Totnes, my home town, love it! You looked really happy to get back home and the kitchen is looking beautiful. It is all coming together

Swooshing in Bantham is going on the list for things to do locally! The Cornish seaweed company is good for dulce and also various salt with seaweed flakes in.

It was a interesting video seeing Madeleine & Alex eating nettle seeds. I knew you could eat the leaves and make nettle tea and they also make a great plant food for your garden. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤Madeleine and Alex. Have a fantastic week and stay safe and well.

The kitchen looks lovely and fresh 👍 Not so sure about the retreat though, it appears to be activities you can do for free yourself, and i imagine guests have to pay a fair price to do this. It looked a little fake to me tbh.
