The initial product is fantastic, until you start dousing it in preservatives and plastic and phtalates just so you can sell it a minutely more convenient way. Sure, a real loaf of bread sliced at the bakery when you're there is great and convenient (if you know you'll eat the whole thing that day), but a pack of sliced bread that will "keep fresh" for months is just a bread like vehicle for added preservatives and sugar.
