Ethan D. try look ahead f2l!it helped when im sub 55 to sub 45/40 im also learning full pll! not fast at some perms.:( hopfully i get better in 3 days for wca event in toronto im doing 2x2 and 3x3. i memorized about 10/11 pll algs :) halfway there! :D

I'm watching this in 2021 and was 1 when you were doing this comp. Cubing is so different now. I only saw like 1 sticker less cube and GAN wasn't even a thing. The stuff you would buy then for 30 dollars you can buy for 5 bucks now.

If cubetcha is sub 25 to make it to get to the second round las vegas has to be like sub 20 and i dont think i have time to learn fridrich i use beginners method and have an average of 1minute 25seconds i started cubing about 2 weeks ago and las vegas is not until august 2014 and i am in december 30th 2013. I was in the same situation, my best was like 1:18 beginners method after i got my zhanchi it dropped to like 50. It was great. also i think it is better to learn 2 look oll and pll first because its just easier to learn and drops your time too
