Clever, and awesome art. I always wanted to be a Pharmacist prescribing 1800's science. If I mess up, nothing a little morphine won't take care of, right? Where did I put those leeches anyway? Oh, they died? I can learn from that if I just steal the body and use it for research! Sweet theme!!

Great question! We did consult with Priestess Miriam Chamani of the New Orleans Voodoo and Hoodoo Spiritual Temple about the history and differences of both Hoodoo and Voodoo in the 1800s, visited the New Orleans Voodoo Museum and talked to the staff about questions we had, as well as read recommended books and articles such as Voodoo & Hoodoo by Jim Haskins, and all of these guided our carefully crafted, game-ified, representation of the role through a lens that shows Voodoo without the common disrespectful trappings frequently displayed by the media. Hopefully, that satisfies your concerns regarding our project, but we're here if you have further comments.
