I’m not sure about KCL since I didn’t apply but UoM is such a good uni in terms of global ranking and job prospects. And the city is vibrant too. Well, London is more vibrant than Manchester but the living costs in London in way higher than here. That’s why I chose UoM. Hope that give you some insights 😁

Hi, I’m not sure how the admission works with HSC examination as I took foundation program. I think it would be best if you email them directly for more tips. But in general, having good grades and outstanding personal statement is essential to get an offer.

I am puzzled, whether to pick uom ! I can't find any information (reviews) on their fashion business courses for masters! Please let me know if they are good for fashion marketing or fashion business courses!!? It sounds like it will be theoretical and would have exams unlike Mmu or Ntu they have more practical course module!

Hello. Thanks for the comment. I cannot give honest reviews of fashion business since I am not studying the course but you can check subject ranking indicator websites such as the Guardian, Times Higher Education, and QS ranking. UoM has a lot of exams tho

Hello! Thank you for the comment. So the living costs can be divided into 3 parts - accommodation costs, food costs and other costs. Accommodation is around £500 to £1,000 depending on the city, location and room type. Food cost is around £200. And other costs such as travel, eating out, transport expenses are around £100. Again, the costs vary from one individual to another and this is only an estimation. Hope this helps 😁

Thank you for commenting. 1. Yes, some accommodation allow roommates. Maximum number of roommates may vary so check this with your accommodation provider. 2. There are so many accommodation(both private and uni dorms) near university. 3. Yes, there are student dorms provided by university. It’s not included in your tuition fees so you have to pay extra fees for your accommodation.

Yep, I’m an international student and you can get a job outside the campus. In fact, you’re legally allowed to work 20 hours per week, no matter within campus or not, during term times and unlimited during holidays.

As far as I know, you can choose accommodation but some dorms are in high demand so they can’t really guarantee your choice.

Thank you for your comment. Finding accommodation is not so difficult if you plan ahead. I found mine through student.com website. However, most accommodations near UoM and city centre can be fully booked before the uni starts so it's better to find one at least 3 months before the uni. Living costs are around £400 to £1000 per month depending on the location and room type. Food and other expenses may vary. Some months I spend around £150 for groceries but sometimes, when I go out a lot or when I travel to other cities, it costs me around £300 per month. I do part-time job to cover some of my expenses. Usually, part time job covers all your food expenses, and some extent of the accommodation fees. Hope this helps you!
