Sorry I haven't uploaded in over a month! I'm currently doing a study abroad in France until the end of the month so I haven't really had time to edit my videos. I come back in less than a week though so I'll have some time to edit so I will hopefully get my next video up in less than 2 weeks MAX. Promise :). Watching your uni videos might be my new addiction. I'm starting this fall at Purdue FYE and honestly knowing what to expect is so relieving. Do you have any tips that might help? Like what classes are bad, what clubs have been good, which residence should I apply to. Also do you think learning communities are good? I don't know how to feel about them. Do you know if incoming freshmen are allowed to change their major after acceptance and before accepting Purdue's admission offer? I initially applied to Purdue for engineering but now I'm really siding towards biology or biochemistry.

I believe you can! I think since you’re not trying to transfer into engineering or a similarly competitive major, you shouldn’t have many issues.

Hi, i am planning to apply to Purdue for Electrical engineering, do you think that Purdue is at the same level as other great universities in USA, such as UCBerkeley , Georgia institute of technology and others?

I would say that the programs are comparable. I would say the caliber of students who go to those two schools, for example, may be higher just because of the selectivity of the school, but I believe Purdue has one of the best Engineering programs in the country, which includes the Electrical (EE) and Electrical and Computer (ECE) programs. There's a very large presence of Electrical Engineering related majors on campus (They actually comprise the highest percentage of all engineering majors on campus), the school has a lot of great industry connections, and a strong curriculum. I think you couldn't go wrong choosing between Purdue and either of those two schools, and any other top 10 Electrical Engineering program across the country. It's definitely worth applying! I know I am slightly biased, but I hope this helps!

Yeah I’m in First Year Engineering (FYE) and were required to take an elective so I chose a CS class. The homework was due the day this was filmed that’s why I was basically only working on CS the whole time lol
