Our favorite KZbinrs, Rob and Lynn. Always a pleasure to watch and support. We had no idea that a power bank could run a large T.V. let alone a domestic washing machine. That's food for thought. We heat our living area using a diesel heater one end, and a 1920's cast iron log burner the other end, that doubles as a stove for cooking on. It's easy to find free wood from skips !! The 'snowflakes' will hate our, 'poor-green footprint', but with energy companies making billions in profit we try to give them less and less. On a lighter note, We also love your cooking Lynn. Think of something festive for a Christmas episode. That'd be good. Best Wishes from Dave and Soph xxx

😂😂😂 I cracked up laughing when you gave him the elbow punch 😂😂 do it again, do it again 😂😂😂 brilliant 😂 & omg 😳 about the TV on standby, I have two 55in side by side in my lounge & both on standby 24/7 😮 my partner watches sports & I'm a gamer 😂 not so much now though 😢 if I turn the TV off then my timer needs to be set every day, it'll stay on standby oh & the TV upstairs is on standby, if I want to stay warm it'll cost me £40 a week just on gas 😢 and Robert Alexander, nobody listens to you, Lynn pass him a tissue to wipe his mouth , he's full of it 😂😂 absolutely awesome vlog, love waking up to a video from you two ❤🌹🥂🍾xx

Rob/scrooge be careful you don’t get visited by 3 ghosts on Christmas Eve. Poor Lynn is a saint to put up with your penny pinching. £168 for 3 months electricity and gas in a caravan is very cheap because prices have risen a lot since the 1970s😀.

Rob you are as quiet as an elephant stampede. 😂 We had exactly the same issue with our static door so must be a common fault. We did get it fixed but no idea what they did - sorry Money saving Idea - plug into your neighbours elecky 😂😂 We had a little pop up tree in the static - 2 mins to put up and didn’t take up much room Great vlog & agree re You Tube. Must be a local EE issue, around here in Wiltshire they they have improved massively, everyone locally are leaving Vodafone and converting to EE, by far the best uk coverage now

Hi Rob & Lynn on Tour, @ your static home which is beautiful by the way ,& loved the way you were just doing a home from home vlog ❤️ it was magical ✨️ 💖 to see you doing your Christmas 🎄 tree & Dec's, & your cooking vlog , & how you use your power banks Rob well done 👏 by the way I always turn everything off @ the mains when I am Finnished with everything I have done that now for years & it really does make a huge saving on your electricity bill , I wish I could get hold of 1 of those supersur gas fires 🔥 they are great ,I used to have 1 in my old place I lived @ & it got lost in transit on the move & I sobbed for weeks because in the winter you can move them around into any room that's big & cold & believe you me my master bedroom is 20ft by 19ft & is freezing even with the central heating on 20c & that's the same size as my living room underneath me ,they are the biggest rooms in the house & have big windows each end with the central heating underneath them so most of the heat goes out through the windows its flipping big & old this house & if you don't keep the heating on being disabled your pain is like 10x worse , & the floors downstairs are like concrete so it always feels damp even though I do have thick underlay & carpets you still feel the cold rising up your feet & legs , so you need to wear lots of layers this weather & we have had more snow than you that's not fair ,plus frosts on the top , but it was lovely watching you count all your pennies ,my heating bill is that much every month you jammy dodgers you ! 😢but its Christmas 🎄 the winter is only young yet the worst is yet to come they have said that this year its going to be colder than 1963 so yeh we need to win on the lotto this year for sure to pay for just our winter bills , & they are putting up our TV licence to 170 pounds next year ,& water up 50 pounds more, everything is daylight robbery in this country & the taxes they charge on the top is a killer its not done like that in America so why bloody here ? After having the guys out to my door several times to no avail someone told me check the door keep (or catch plate) and that is where the issue was. All I had to do was remove it and put a packer behind it then just screw it back. Problem solved, the packer I used was an old loyalty card from tesco (don't tell tesco). This may not be the issue you have, just thought I'd mention it. 👍🎄

Rob/Lynn - Has anyone done a cost analysis on using a power bank? example -how much does it cost in electricity to charge the power bank to how much it cost to use the appliance from the grid- if the power bank gives you 100hours of tv then you have to charge it again , what would be the price difference for using the tv for 100 hours straight from the grid. Hi, we can’t really answer that as we never recharge them via electric, we use solar when we can, the generator, charge whilst driving etc

Something wrong with the power measurements on your power bank, a smart TV uses virtually nothing on standby, 65” uses about 100 watt in use and around 1 watt on standby, similarly your microwave just has the clock display and small electronics on standby a few watts max.
