A DAY IN THE LIFE in PHUKET Thailand! 🇹🇭 + Beach Street Food

Phuket is the largest island in Thailand and is probably the most well known of them all! But most visit for a minimum of 1 week. But how much can you pack into just 24 hours?
In this video we take you on a 24 hour tour to the south and south west of the island to show you just how much you can do and what is possible these days. We start off at Kata beach - a peaceful and beautiful beach about a 15 minute drive from the Patong area. We recommend hiring a taxi for a full day tour if you are not comfortable on a motorbike. We find a pop up street food market situated right next to the beach! Perfect for a fresh morning coconut, coffee and Papaya Salad (of course!)
Next up is the most iconic symbol of Thailand. The majestic Big Buddha. Built in 2004 and is probably the most visited site in Phuket (besides Bangla Road)😂
We take a short trip to Rawai which is further south and stopped at Wilson’s cafe for a quick BLT lunch! And then a 6 minute drive to the southern most part of Phuket - Promthep Cape! Many of our subscribers had suggested this spot for us so thank you so much! You mentioned that this spot is perfect to watch the sunset and it did not disappoint! You do, however, have to hike a little to get to the bottom of the cape and on the way down the rocks can be a bit slippery so be careful! We also suggest hiking back up while it’s still bright out just in case!

I think it is hard to limit Phuket to 24 hours. When you take in all the surroundings, it needs weeks to see it all, and weeks to relax afterwards. I would stay at least until March! 😁

If you had more time a ride south to Nia Harn beach is a beautiful coastal road, amazing sunsets/scenery. Not far from Nia Harn is Rawai beach and the old 'pirate' fishing village, great seafood and old fishing boats.

hello often in the morning I swim the entire length of Patong beach. I eat lunch at my favorite restaurant, take a rest in the afternoon and then go to walk at the beach again. I have a bigbike so whenever I want I can travel far .in 3 months I' ve ridden about 7300 km, went to Nong Khai, Buriram, Pattaya, samut Prakan, Kanchanaburi, Prachuap, and for Xmas I went paddling a surfski t Trang on the way back I visited the Tiger Temple at Krabi, I met an english youtuber at Phang-nga .Now I'm just thinking of the next tour, more adventurous. I have swum the entire length of the west coast of Phuket 5 years ago and I still go snorkelling in the nicest place. Just ask if you want to know where. I also intend to swim to from Promthep Cape to the small island with a temple in front.

Another recommendation you may like, when you are on Nia Harn beach on the right hand side is the former Royal Phuket Yacht Club, you can ride thru there and the road winds down to the Ao Sane (Jungle Beach) resort which is gated, but some beautiful little beach spots nearby, a real 'getaway' area. Yeah the food on Kata beach is great and really well priced compared to some other places. Those Big Buddha views are epic but no time for Wat Chalong? Also a great place to walk around.

If you get into Old Town, try a lunch at Kin Kub Chef. Awesome food good prices. You won’t be disappointed.

Hi guys what time of year would you say is the cheapest best time of year to travel, we have booked to come in April, but with all the travel restrictions are thinking of putting it back a bit, we love your videos have watched them all, keep up the good work :) any advice would be helpful

Thank you Sarah! April is a great time to visit, it is during the Songkran festival (Water festival) it is mid summer as well, weather is HOT but good! Hopefully not too many restrictions in April! 🤗
