I just want to say how nice it is to have someone that has mastered the art of volume. The music level is perfect. The fade-ins and outs are smooth and the vocals don't jump all over the place. About a year or two ago one of the sailing channels interviewed an older couple that has been doing sailing documentaries for many years and I was stunned to hear them mention how important sound was. You do a great job. My very picky ears thank you.

I agree 9 out 10 times the music is way to loud compared to the commentary. Sierra does a great job.

Sand and salt in a dog's coat will itch when it dries. That's why Jetty is scratching her back on the trampoline. If I had a cruising dog I would keep the hair clipped short and brush the coat frequently. Thanks for "the day in the life"! Great job on your dinner meal!

When I used to have to hold my own water in and out of the house that I was building I was amazed at how little water that you could or really would need in order to keep clean and take care of everything you just have to rethink the way you wastewater because the fact is anyone that turns the water on full blast is wasting water right off the bat because all you really need are spoonfuls to clean things you can get away with such a minimum of them amount of water if you practice

I've got family in Key West (Marathon) . The last time we were there visiting, we went out on their boat and went snorkeling for lobster. We covered the bottom of the boat with them,. He had a huge freezer where he kept an huge supply. (did them on a grill) . Thery were yummy.

Fun day on the water with you guys. Shoal draft boats are awesome for west coast cruising. My wife and I took an F27 to the Abaco islands about twenty years ago and had a blast, and we’ve done a trip from Tampa bay to the Dry Tortugas, Marquesas, Key West, Bahia Honda and back on our 31’ sharpie as well. Enjoy your positive vibes and sailing fun. Cheers

That beautiful purple delicate shell is found world-wide in tropical waters. It is a Janthina Janthina, Linneaus,1758. It does not live on the ocean floor but rather is a free floating mollusk that feeds on other floating sea life.

If that "stuff" is the small blue balloon thing you saw on the beach its a Blue Bottle, they have long thin lines that sting like crazy, we get them here all the time, not as bad as stingers up north but they hurt for a few hours, the others (box jellies etc can kill you) gotta love Australia.

If you want to snorkel go on the south side of the keys on the ocean side Atlantic go to the lighthouses The water is shallower there for snorkeling The water is clear and there are some reef left nothing like in the 1970s but it's still pretty but you have to go on the Atlantic side for clear water The entire Bayside is very murky

Nearly one-in-four break the sewage rules in Florida. Someone dumped their holding tank...either illegally or close enough to get in the Florida Current. The gyres that fire off have some crazy currents through the Keys, so it could have come from miles away from a larger commercial vessel.

Water travels in underground Aquifers in Florida, from north to south ! I bet the Miami deep well sewage water injection program has sprung back up where you are at ! For those Islands being that far out in the Gulf, away from practically all human activities, and right on the Gulf stream. The water in those Islands and lagoons should still be crystal blue and pristine!

OK I got a question for you Jetty chooses not to drink the salt water if you put him in freshwater does he automatically smell the water and know to drink it or is he hesitant to drink fresh water because he’s been around salt water so long?
