Tula's Endless Summer

Күн бұрын

We find our favorite kind of anchorage. The kind with no one around and nothing to be heard but fish jumping, birds chirping, and the occasional Jetty bark 😂 I have been wanting to dive for so long and we finally get the perfect weather and we are able to bring back dinner. Take it from us NOTHING compares
to fresh caught fish for dinner….
Thanks so much for watching!

This was the first channel I started following on youtube on regular basis many years ago. I have since become a Patron to Tula's and watch many other channels from Demoranch, goonsquad, SailingDoodles, Sailing Zatara, Gone with the Wynns and many many others. But, Billy, Sierra and Jetty are my favorite. Such good hearted, kind people and your videos are so interesting. I love all the places you travel, all the tips you give from how to catch and clean to navigating the intercoastal waterway. It amazes me everything Billy can do repairing the boat as well as Sierra. Honestly, I haven't seen Jetty participate much on the repairs but, I guess being a gypsy, she gets a pass. Cant wait for the new boat!!

So, I am not more than 6 minutes into this video and i have to tell you that your technical and artistic qualities in capturing and editing images is just amazing. The results were breathtaking, especially the sequences where you were kiting and the images were being recorded by drone . . the low angle and high altitude shots were amazing! I am playing catch-up but I am loving this. Congratulations to both of you on the engagement. Heartfelt wishes for much happiness.

I am glad to hear there are restrictions on the grouper and snapper you saw. When I was your age (granted, a lonnnnng time ago) and free diving and spearfishing on the Keys reef lines during the summers, my friends and I would never have bothered even looking at those fish. What you are seeing there is semi desolation. Call your location Mosquito Reef. Those are babies. When we shot a grouper or a snapper, we shot one, and it fed the six of us. When we wanted lobster for lunch, one or two of us would snorkel from the tiny island off the Seven Mile Bridge where we were camped and pick up a dozen in about a half hour. Not to be disparaging, 'cause I am a subscriber and a fan of Corsair, but what you are seeing is nothing compared to what it was. And just to make you feel bad, ;) my friend Steve who grew up in Miami told me that during the season, the number of lobsters in Florida Bay was so great that the the channels between the islands were insufficient for the number of lobsters that migrated from the Bay to the Atlantic, SO the stragglers, walked across the islands and US 1, thousands getting smushed by cars and trucks and causing lots of flat tires. Those were some diving years!

I used to catch my own shrimp from the bridges with a dip net in the wintertime and eat them when I got home. Doing that ruined eating shrimp from the store or restaurant. Once I watched an interview of a fish store owner who was asked what was the best fish to eat, and he said "fresh."

If you weren't living on your boat and on every weekend you were just trying to cruise around for a day or at most a week; wouldn't you have chosen this trimaran rather than your next boat, which I guess is a catamaran. Wouldn't trimarans be much more fun? I was just at the sea and one of these corsairs passed me, and it looked really fun. I changed the text because of myriads of typos.
@Tulasendlesssummer
