Bearded dragons don't need baths 5-6x per week. They don't bathe in the wild. 1-2x per week is ample! Your enclosure is also very SPARCE. He'd love a decent substrate and some basking rocks, hides and/or hammock, etc.

My fist beardie Cuddles liked stuffed animals a lot too, so he had several. My second beardie Luna liked them too, though not as much as Cuddles. She mostly just liked this hot pink dragon toy with massive eyes that she would always grab him by with her paws.

I will say I have had many bearded dragons and so I do have a few things I would suggest I would get a heating lamp that produces no light(if you aren't already) and also if you aren't giving them a mini salad with just some greens and very thin pieces of carrots and a few worms(with calcium) and other things I would suggest doing so and also I wouldn't give him a bath every day maybe once or twice a week but not daily and also it could be a girl or boy you cant actually tell as a baby because when they are older you can tell down there they will have little holes if its a female it has very small holes and you can barely see them if its a boy you can see them and that is all I would suggest but for now you are doing great:)
@caterscarrots34072 жыл бұрын
Actually, you can tell with babies if you do the flashlight test, putting a flashlight gently on the base of the tail and seeing if there are 2 dark areas. It takes experience and good eyesight, but it can be done.

Someone stole my 2.5 year old beardie, Prickles, out of my back yard a little over a week ago. We have a chain link fenced in yard, with low income apartments behind us. He has an outdoor house/cage thing back there and was enjoying the first really good weather we have had this year. When we went to get him, one of the doors on his house was open, and he was gone. I'm devastated. I decided I'm going to put up posters offering a $500 reward for him to be returned, but I'm trying not to get my hopes up:( Hopefully whoever took him will realize that's enough money to buy a new bearded dragon with a couple hundred dollars left over. People suck 😢
