As an analytics undergrad, I’m now finding out how things like KPIs and market research are vital in both fields, but I’d love to hear more personal experience from you to shed some light on how a business analyst and UX designer may use the same tools like KPIs differently

I recently graduated with a degree in Business Economics of August this year and looking to get into a career as a Business Analyst. The day-to-day expectations, the mindset and work environment that surrounds this career seem like it would be a perfect fit for my personality and I was wondering how I can put myself into the position where I can apply for an entry-level position as a Business Analyst. Is there any sort of advice that you could offer to me when I'm starting out?

The two most valuable lessons I’ve learned on my journey is that interviewing is a skill...master it. The second is that networking is a skill... master that too. Those two things get you hired. Everything else only qualifies you as an option. Best of luck! And don’t give up.

My point in saying all of this is, when you've a software engineering degree and tryna change your path, it takes a lot of guts and determination. Anyways, hope you get the job.

Hey, liked your video a lot. What kind of internships would you recommend to do during school? Iam studying Business Administration (1st year) and working as IT Anaylst, but thinking this job would fit me perfectly after graduation. 🤔

Thanks! There's many business analyst internships out there. Data analyst internships work too!

I have a interview coming up for a BA. What kind of on the job training did you go through as I just graduated with my MBA and have no work experience in this area.
@AndresTheDesigner5 жыл бұрын
I was a business analyst intern before my full-time business analyst role. I would say learn SQL, tableau, and data anaytics. These hard skills are very in demand for BAs.

Can business analyst be CFO ?
@AndresTheDesigner4 жыл бұрын
Of course. Business Analyst are data driven number crunchers that try to solve business problems. With enough dedication, I'm sure a business analyst can eventually become a CFO.
