Her oldest will be graduating high school with his Associates degree. Nuff said. Lol. 😂 When Jess said that, I just started cracking up laughing. I love watching homeschooling families WIN. It just fills me with so much joy. We bless the name JESUS and just thank Him for blessing our families. He is just so wonderful! I LOVE seeing His people persevere. ❤

@@freeinghumanitynowit’s the parents fault. Calling them little monsters is uncalled for. It’s not their fault their parents got them hooked on electronics. A new study showed that parents use of these electronics affects their kids. And many parents start their kids on electronics starting practically at birth! It’s all these kids know. Instead of interacting with their kids they shove a device in front of their face to entertain them.

I rarely comment, but want to put out to you how impressed I am with all you do. My children are all adults now as of September 07. 18- 42 years old. I have provided home child care/preschool to children since the late 70's. Have been asked to teach kindergarten and first grade for the young loves I care for. We are nature -based. Raising meat birds, laying hens, pigs, turkeys, and are bee keepers. I am also a master gardener, and grow a ton and a half of organic food to serve the children in my daily life, I love following your channel. I am not on instagram, but any curriculum you might be able to share on this platform will be totally appreciated. Thank you for all you do/share.

I completely agree with the way you homeschool your children since I did it the same way. My youngest just graduated with a degree in Physics and math. My other children also have full college degrees and all graduated with honors. And all of them are employed in the areas they studied in college. I do believe in letting children learn to think for themselves.

This year, for a number of reasons, we have sent our grade 6 and grade 4 boys to in-person school. One of the reasons being that I felt I wasn’t able to do enough for them due to my health challenges. Well isn’t it the most heartening thing to see, in the beginning of the year assessments, they are testing at the top of their classes! They are quite dismayed by the chaos and disobedience in the classroom. Looking forward to bringing them back home next year. Thank you for the beautiful video. You are such an inspiration to me. My daily home rhythm is around myself, husband and adult son. We have ducks and chickens to take care of year round, a large garden and the preserving it results in. I enjoy having my grandchildren in our home as much as possible and invest in their lives. You are a great example of a godly mother and wife. Blessings to you and yours.

It’s been years since our youngest homeschooled son has completed his formal education with a doctorate in Analytical Chemistry. Best of all, he is a fine man. You expressed the heart of homeschooling. It’s not easy but is so fulfilling. Those who think homeschool is not a real education may need to carefully consider what the end goal is. Homeschoolers have that well in mind. Lovely video!

But pur summer months are gardening, preserving and scratch cooking all of our meals. I thoroughly enjoy watching your videos and learning new preserving techniques or recipes, and remembering my past fondly.😊

Jessica, we homeschooled our 2 daughters almost 25 yrs ago. It was just really becoming popular at that time. It's hard to believe there are still people out there who question homeschooling because of the success rate. Most colleges will tell you they love homeschooling students because of their great study habits. Both ouur daughters went on to become RNs so I think that should silence your critics. And they both have very respectable and high paying jobs! Plus, beautiful mothers. You really did a great job of explaining homeschooling on your video.

Blessed Sunday, Jessica! I’m so glad you talked about homeschooling today. I home schooled and graduated 3 of my 4 children and truly miss those days. When I saw you reviewing something on the computer with your oldest, I became emotional. Those teaching moments and more importantly, bonding with your child in an intellectual way were amazing for me, a shared mutual respect of being a mom and teacher with a maturing young adult. All my children are grown, married, on their own, but they still come to me and ask my opinion on issues and challenges. I’ve realized those experiences and memories are priceless. Have a very Blessed week and you look WONDERFUL!

Love seeing the morning evolve in your household. Even though there are many things to do you are so organized that there is no chaos or short tempers. You and your family are looking well. I hope Adam is too! This was a very calming video today... just what I needed! I like when you show what your meals are and how you make them. I've gotten so many new ideas from your videos. I often think to myself "why haven't I been doing that?". I've learned shortcuts from you. I guess it's because I moved out to the country with my kids and grandkids from the city and we are sorta homesteading. We've all changed our lifesyles and are trying to get back to basics. But that means more cooking from scratch. No more boxed food! I'm still bringing in a lot from the garden so preserving isn't over just yet. Grandma's (me) in charge of that while the kids still go to work. Who ever said homesteading is easy?? lol. You have a great week with your family. Looking forward to next Sunday.

I have been following you for a while now and love how you make everything so simple to follow. However what I appreciate so much about you is that you make the time for hugs and kiss from the children in between your full days. I’ve seen some parents who are just too busy for those important parts of child raising. In my opinion, if you can’t take a few minutes to show your children some love, then perhaps children should not have been part of their life plan. My two are now in their 30’s, and even at that age, I always make time to show them how important they are to me. Just my thoughts.

Thank you for so much information on homeschooling! I commend you for teaching so many levels - wow! I want to let you know that as a public school teacher, I think many people hold outdated views of what public school looks like in 2024. There is a lot of independent learning, differentiation, group work, and movement throughout the day. It’s no longer that stereotypical lecture hall style with all the high schoolers falling asleep at their desks!

Some other things that public school kids miss, besides quality family time during the week, are sunshine and time to run around and have fun in nature. Recess at public school is too short and usually ends by 5th grade. They also use any and every excuse to make it indoors -- too cold, too hot, too whatever. In addition, punishment for hyperactive kids often is to miss recess, which they physically need. It ends up being more of a punishment to the teacher in the afternoon. 😂

Thank you for sharing! I genuinely don’t know how you do it. I’m a mom of 7 kids between 11 months-18 years old. I’d be overjoyed if the Lord was to bless us with baby 8 someday! I love the idea of homesteading but as it stands, in the last year I have started milling our own flour, making all of our bread, tortillas, muffins, etc with fresh milled flour. I have also dedicated myself to cooking from scratch 95% of our meals. We also homeschool. I feel like there aren’t enough hours in a day, I fear my homesteading goals would be impossible. Maybe I just need to use my time more efficiently. Anyway, I love your videos! Congratulations on your new baby coming soon!

Hi Jessica! I love your videos . My husband and I raised 5 children and we did a lot of canning which I love. I have learned a lot from you. You have a very beautiful family. Have a great day.
