Great video! There’s a lot of good information in it. The only thing I’d recommend is a wireless lav mic. Something like the rode wireless go mic would work perfectly.

Cool to see your process. I'm a REP as well and I appreciated this. One thing I do that is an ABSOLUTE GAME CHANGER is do exterior photos and video right at the same time. I use my Sony A7siii on my Ronin S with a monopod on the bottom of it. I have it set to Manual Photo mode on a two second timer. Gives me enough time to raise my ronin up to any desired height from 3 feet all the way up to probably 13 feet or so. Ronin keeps it centered and verticals aligned. Then i bring it down and click the record button and do a quick shot at 4k60fps then move to the next exterior location.

Getting into REP as well. It doesnt look like your leveling your camera on location. Are you just eyeballing, and straitening it out in LR? or perhaps just using the guides?
@thecreativerevolver2 жыл бұрын
Good question, I actually do use the electronic level on the Canon R5. I don’t worry about getting it perfect though. I get it pretty close and tweak in LR. You’ll find that very few houses are even square, even the new houses. I find it’s easier to just get it close and not spend too long worrying about it being perfect until you get to editing.
@jacobbehunin2 жыл бұрын
@@thecreativerevolver I've been finding the same. Houses are not straight. I purchased a geared tripod head, and I seem to spend a lot of time leveling with the digital level on the camera....but I end up tweaking in LR anyway. seems like wasted time on location.

Haha I love this question....I try to park somewhere on the road not directly in front of the house I'm shooting. Sometimes, In front of a neighbor's house. If I have to, I'll park at the end of the driveway and just shoot angles avoiding the car. I photoshop the car out of the drone shots.
@x_jaydn3 жыл бұрын
@@thecreativerevolver Haha, it's probably not the first thing people wonder/inquire about, and that's why I think it's so important 😂 ===== Would you say that parking the vehicle in the garage would add or take away to the visualization of the property? (if you even somehow manage to get permission from the agent and/or property owner) 🤔 I'm still starting up my career, so I don't always have great access to private transportation. When I have access to the car, I don't mind parking the distance (and leaving some gear in there). When I don't have access to the car, I take my glossy jet black Kawasaki ninja, in my jet black attire & helmet, and with my jet black Lowepro AW 450 II bag. However, I have some worries when it's out-of-sight on a long(er) shoot because, even if I've taken a key out of the ignition, baddies could still wheel it away onto a truck and steal it (if they try hard enough). I'm just curious to know your thoughts (both as a third party & as a REP) on parking the sport bike in the (available) garage and the process of going about asking the client(s) thereof 😅

You use a flash. It is a pity that you hid it from us. I am an interior photographer and I know that such white walls can only be obtained with a flash.
@thecreativerevolver2 жыл бұрын
Hey Sergey, thanks for checking out the video, but I assure you that I didn’t use any flash on these shoots. There are some other methods to obtaining white walls. It definitely requires more on the editing side. I come from a graphic design background, so the post production has always been a big focus of mine. Maybe I’ll make another video going over some different methods.
