Would you recommend Chattanooga over Knoxville?
@stevepailet82583 жыл бұрын
@@FaithUpjohn Traffic is a lot worse in Knoxville but it is also a much larger population there. This also means more amenities are available. So without knowing your desires kind of tough to recommend. I find the variety of places to eat are better in Knoxville. No clue about property taxes and such. the Zoo and museums are a lot bigger and better. Remember it is only 90 miles or so between the two cities so easy enough to make a day trip and enjoy each. Dollywood , pigeon forge and gatlinburg are closer also meaning day trip from knoxville. Chattanooga is more of an out door place to live with hiking boating and such.

I returned to Chattanooga in June 2018 after retiring at 52 and never looked back. Being semi-retired, I work remotely now part-time. Not only is Chattanooga a great place for younger folks, it’s great for 50-somethings like myself. The savings in state income taxes and just car expenses in terms of taxes and insurance have been huge, even from Kentucky. It’s a great place for active people at any age! The climate and availability of outdoor activities are endless even for older people. I walk the Riverwalk, ride my bike, and just bought my first SUP at the age of 54 last summer!

Thank you so much for enlightening people about this small city! I’ve been living in Chatt for about 5 years now, and Chattanooga has lot more to offer! Welcome to Chatt!!

Welcome guys! I just stumbled on your channel and so glad I did. It's always awesome to see love for this city on KZbin. I moved here from Los Angeles in 2016 and so glad I did. It's got that southern charm with just enough metropolitan vibe for my taste. Coffee scene is great too, I recommend Mean Mug & Stone Cup on Northshore, and Sleepyhead Coffee downtown! Funny enough, we're fixing to move into a house in the spring, so we'll be facing the daunting task of finding a house in a currently-competitive housing market. Hopefully we get as lucky as you did!!

Hi guys! I literally just found your video because it was suggested to me on my feed, but I watched it because I live in Chattanooga! Your home is absolutely beautiful! Welcome to the city!! I've lived in four states, including Los Angeles, CA for a couple years, and this is still my favorite place I've ever lived. You can't beat the amazing people and incredible things to do here. It's absolutely my home. And Casey Bryant and his wife have been two of my husband and I's closest friends for nearly 10 years! Y'all literally couldn't have picked a better home lender than him. So excited to have y'all here! Hope you enjoy our amazing home 😊

The title of your video grabbed my attention because I moved here 3 weeks ago from SoCal. We bought a house after only having visited for 5 days about 4 months ago. So far it's a pretty awesome place and my family is really enjoying it. Lol, you said snow, being from SoCal that was a big deal for us too.

I grew up in the Chattanooga/North Georgia area and I hope you don't have allergies because this area has the highest pollen index than most anywhere else. We do have lots of allergy specialists though to help with that. I wish all happiness and contentment in your new home. Welcome to the "neighborhood". :)

Congratulations. I just moved from Florida to Kentucky. My house in Florida sold in two days with 12 offers. The market is crazy.
