I fully enjoyed this video, thank you for sharing! I thought our Sheltie was the ONLY one who was up EVERY day in the middle of the night lol. I am NOT a morning person, never have been, never will be.....that was the hardest part of having our girl, we miss her dearly & would give ANYTHING to have her waking us up at 3:30a.m. hope youre all having a great weekend😊

Those Shelties are set in a routine. They are always working and trying to please you. Sometimes I tell my sheltie 'Relax and Enjoy'; she always want to please us.

Every time that my blinds are up is window duty time for my sheltie, most of the time is back gate duty 😆. Pia is a cutie doing her patrols and duties 😍💖. It looks like that licking hands while humans work on paws is a sheltie trait 😄🥰.

Shelties are just such an amazing dog. Until you have owned one you will never understand them completely. Mine is so devoted to me and would go after anyone who threatened me. This Sheltie is the dog of a lifetime and I will never has such a wonderful dog. You are correct the licking is like a thank you for your help. I get it every morning to my face, it is like my sheltie saying "I Love You Every Day" They are a lot of work at times but the devotion is unconditional.

@Dog & The city Yes!!❤️ They really are amazing, every time you look at them, even if they aren't doing anything, they are funny and cute at the same time 🥰. Because mine always sleeps on the top part of my pillow she's is always facing my husband looking at his face to know when he wakes up and when he does she starts to wiggle her tail, if takes to long she starts to lick our faces to wake up 🥰,

This is really cute and they are beautiful dogs that is for sure, but hopefully there is a fence around that building? It's not just watching out for coyote's, Owl's, and Hawks, but even the best trained dogs have got lost and/or stolen when they weren't on a leash when outside of a fenced in yard or their home. I saw a beautiful Collie that I loved just as much as if she were mine get run over and the scream she let out before dying seconds later I will never forget. I felt somewhat responsible for not getting her when she got loose from her fenced in yard that was just up the street from me. So they weren't even trying to let her run loose and then hearing of pets getting stolen right out from under their owners noses so to speak or a sudden noise that scared off other dogs that ended up lost. IMO it's not worth the risk! I love all dogs but Collies and Shelties are my favorite 🐶💖😊

Definitely a fence. Still scary with coyote in the area. I did have an Owl fly about 10 feet over our head one morning and they were both on leash.

@@DogThecity Yep, that is scary, too!! So good to hear there is a fence around the building. It still upsets me so much the Collie I saw hit and we were not even on a main road. Just a residential street in a housing development. She was trying to get out of the way after the first time they hit her and they hit her again on purpose 😥 Your Sheltie and Collie are so beautiful.

@@DogThecity I've now taken in a 5 mo old sheltie boy from someone who was moving. He didn't learn anything, didn't seem to even know his name or how to grip a toy. He's very mellow and loves anyone tho, surprisingly. Very calm compared to my Aussie but he does bark when I leave him, he's playing, or he's in the crate. That's about the only times ! Overall so far so good I think!

My Sheltie has me trained quite well! Dinner sharp at 6 pm or he lets me know. He owns prime real estate on my side of the bed and won’t give it up🤨🤦‍♀️

I hate to admit it but our sheltie has learned how to manipulate the entire house. This morning I was starting to fall back asleep for a few minutes and the sheltie kept waking me up to make sure breakfast was on-time. Mine does not much care to sleep in bed but for a few hours in the morning.

Funny video. (My Japanse spitz barks a lot when he seen somebody coming near our yard,we got a house so we have to take him inside sometimes after a while,on walks he dont barks!) -Can you make more videos what you give them to eat and maybe do it funny Like take picture what you give them every day during 7 days and tell us what is it the bowls and how to you think when you prepare a meal.Do you give them about 2 vegetables each meal and one berry each meal And what do you not give them My dog dont eat raw vegetables but if it some sause/spice on them its ok

Dogs are funny. The sheltie will eat everything. and loves vegetables. The Rough Collie will only eat vegetables if they are mixed with chicken or beef.

My kitchen door has a doggie door and Q-tip my 8yo Shelty girl only uses this door unless she’s going out or in with me the yard is fully fenced and Q-tip patrols on her schedule which is REGULAR she knows many people and dogs/cats she will not let any pet her unless they are inside the fence with me and the petting privilege is hard to earn. If the visitor needs to go inside Q-tip will go in her door and meet them in living room Q-tip is Shelty #7 Sheeba my only non-Shelty was a PittPei rescue intimidating looking but a sweetheart; if her fur stood up something was happening and you needed to pay attention and her partner Grape Nehi (Blue Merle #3 Shelty #5) could deter all problems the day they met Sheeba was 9mo Grape Nehi was 2 1/2mo he thought he was gonna die day #2 and 13 1/2yrs more they were the best of friends Grape could walk underneath Sheeba just trading a back rub for a belly rub I miss them a lot
