If someone has a mental illness that prevents them from being able to see what they truly are, then that's understandable. But most people (the vast majority of which are not mentally ill) are pretty convinced that transgenders truly are a gender they weren't assigned at birth and that real biology somehow backs that up. Like I said, if you guys respected people who didn't support your unbelievable delusions, I might have a little respect for you guys. For example, one study [37] investigated transgender men and transgender women before and after cross-sex hormone therapy using a binary classifier. The authors reported a significantly reduced classification accuracy in transgender persons compared to cisgender persons prior to hormone therapy, and the classification accuracy was even further reduced after therapy. This result might be explained by a shift in brain anatomy towards the gender identity (i.e., away from the biological sex), as also observed in the present study. Nevertheless, the sample sizes in those studies were extremely small (n = 8 and n = 11, respectively) and analyses were conducted using binary (rather than continuous) classifiers simply categorizing brains either as “male” or as “female”. Continuous classifiers (as applied in the current study) reflect a more nuanced classification by indicating where brains sit on the “male-female” spectrum but, to our knowledge, have not been used in transgender samples when analyzing structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data. Nevertheless, even though findings are not immediately comparable, all existing structural MRI classifier studies-as well as a recent resting-state functional MRI classifier study [38]-seem to support the notion of a “shift” away from the biological sex towards the gender identity in transgender people. This shift has also been observed previously in some traditional region-of-interest studies focusing on single brain features and brain areas, such as the uncinate nucleus (INAH-3) [60], the insula and pars triangularis [14], the area around the central sulcus, posterior cingulate, and occipital regions [23] as well as the bed nucleus of the stria terminalis [22,28], just to name a few." "Also, they showed lower FA values compared to control males in the corticospinal tract. The authors concluded that the white matter microstructure pattern of FtM transgenders was closer to that of their gender identity (males) than that of their natal sex (females), and there were evidences for intrinsic contrast in the brain structure of untreated FtM transgenders. Moreover, this research group reported significant differences between MtF transgenders and both male and female controls in the superior longitudinal fasciculus, corticospinal tract, forceps minor and anterior cingulum.39) They suggested that some fascicles do not complete the masculinization of the brain in MtF transgenders. In another study, Kranz et al.40) investigated the white matter microstructure pattern of untreated transgender individuals with early-onset gender incongruence using DTI. The authors found extensive significant differences in mean diffusivity between transgenders and male and female controls in most white matter tracts."

​@@SnickerDoodleBug05 Ok, you're using valid evidence for some of it. First off though, "gender" is supposed to just be the informal word of sex, just like pee is the informal word for urine. I think now, the dictionary has been updated to say that they are two different things, but that was really only because of the rise of distinct gender identities. What truly makes someone a specific sex however, is the chromosomes that they have. A man has XY, a female has XX, Chromosomes are the primary defining factor for sex. It's true that whether you're male, female, black or white, every human shares 99% of the same DNA, which is exactly why all the genetic factors you proposed to me are true. However, the presence of, or in the channel owners case, lack of, a y chromosome, is exactly what keeps them the gender they were assigned at birth. You've mentioned the use of therapy and artificial methods to transition into another gender, however, our technology is not advanced enough to change your genes enough to the point where you'd actually count as a male or female. Many scientists and bioligists will back up transgenderism, but there's explanations for that, one of which being, they're trying to respect transgender people and they're trying to avoid being called bigots. And using genetic similarities between male and females to support transgenderism doesn't really effect the rest of the their studies, it just makes transgender people feel respected.
