This video does not accurately depict normal delivery routes. She had 9-bags (=100 packages =60+ deliveries) in this video. Reality... Expect 14-20+ bags =200+ packages =140-180+ deliveries. This girls route [in this video] is referred to as a "Sissy Route" They give you these routes your first couple days. But after that... expect A LOT more. That's where drivers start to drop/quite. *Also, you ARE held accountable to any damages that occur while in your possession. No you won't have to pay to fix it. But you may be looking at disciplinary action; depending on the incident [Write ups, suspension, etc.]

Sweetheart, first of all 9 bags is not an automatic equivalent to 100 packages & 60stops. Also it’s not everyday that one gets 140-180 stops, there are days where it’s slow & your deliveries can range from 80-100 deliveries. It was not my first couple days on the job to answer your assumption, I’ve had days were my deliveries were a lot & days were it was a “sissy route”. How can you say this video does not depict the reality of what to expect? When it’s clearly A day in the life, I didn’t say a day in YOUR life. I lasted a little over 6 months. I started Jan 22nd and quit late July I believe. I’m in MD. It’s easy work but when your stuff isn’t ready on time for you to load or you constantly have to rescue everyday it’s annoying after a while. I’m in school now for computer hardware and networking. Dang you must have a shitty DSP mines is great so far ! Got $100 gift card first week and $50 this week and got my $1 raise a month and a half early ! And never had any issues with loading or constantly rescuing cause I get big routes usually 160-200 so I finish within the ten hours ! The annoying things are Shitty rabbit GPS , Group stops and dumb customer preferred locations lol and I also go to school will finish my Associates in criminal justice this Spring!

I did doordash at first for a long time, over 1400 deliveries. With that experience, I jumped into this via a DSP (a good one) And it's pure cake lol. After doing everything myself with Doordash, and with uncertain pay. It's been nice just pulling up, putting the stuff in my van and off I go. My DSP also pays me for the full 10 hours even if I finish in 5, that's if no one needs a rescue. No gass prices, no car worries. Pretty nice. If you like delivering and you like chillin but at a steady pace it's not hard at all. that being said I had crazy experience delivering. So I know many tips tricks and tactics for many situations. I can see it being very intimidating for someone new. My best advice? be confident. Don't worry, be confident and bold. Do your work :)

Personally I believe in God & practically be begging for protection! when I start to feel unsafe or even doubting I try to remind myself I am not alone. I do my best staying alert & aware! However, You’re allowed to carry pepper spray or taser. I can’t get them shipped out to me sadly Bc of state laws. But hopefully you can. 😊(double check with your dsp) Driving the van is a process, But honestly you’ll do great. After a week or 2. Just remember it’s bigger in size when backing up etc. For faster deliveries, I park at my first location, sort out like 2-3 bags according to my itinerary so when I reach the location I won’t spend time looking. You can try out different methods & see which works best for you. This was mad long but I wanted to be clear. Hope I answered all your questions love. Anything else feel free to ask ! You’ll do great !

I'm in raleigh nc. Our "peak season" hasn't ended nor has it lessened. We as a dsp had the drivers allowed on road for the day cut down to 21-23 max package count has risen. A normal day for us is 190stops 350packages. I work 12 hour days we get no "breaks" cause we all know if you stop even once you're gonna be late and or need a rescue (someone who comes and takes deliveries from you to do themselves, after they already finished their route) it sucks. Doing all that work just to go do more. Were on a time crunch all day everyday starting from loading up the vans. Imagine that van with 20 full bags and 40+ oversize. Amazon is bullshit. Do not work for them.

I wasn't an Amazon driver, but I did use a vehicle to do my job at times. I would stop at a 7 eleven to warm my food up. Whatever convenience store you have where you live, ask to use their microwave. If they see you are working they will definitely let you use it. I don't like eating out much and prefer to bring food from home. So I use a small cooler to keep my food fresh, and use a microwave at a convenience store while I'm on the road.

Bruh I deliver to suburbs and I aint use to that shit as a inner city kid, lol mfs leave their dogs just outside no leash no fence NOTHING, I call the customer if they dog is outside unleashed no matter the size. And if they dont awnser after a lil, Boom unable to deliver, and I text my dsp the reason. having a good dsp is EVERYTHING

I''m a Amazon delivery driver. Was this your first couple routes? I can't believe your route was so small, especially IN DECEMBER! This is either your new hire "Sissy Route" or was prearranged in order for you to film this. I deliver on average 230-280 packages =140-180 stops a day. There are other drivers in my dept that are able to do 300+packages =200+ stops a day.

No, It was not a new hire “sissy route” nor was it prearranged love. Everyday is not the same, some days are packed & some are like this. I’m not in your depth nor did I ever say I’m incapable of completing 140stops. This video is simply based on one of the many days that are IN DECEMBER.

I'm watching all these videos before I need to go to sleep so I need to come back and watch this fully. it doesn't seem like it but I used to work for the USPS and we used to do Amazon deliveries on Sunday and our packages were numbered 1-200 something or whatever they were. And on those days I didn't like it at first but after I got used to it I started going pretty fast and I just commented on some other guys video about his day and the life of a delivery driver. And honestly I just want to lose weight xD I was walking so much. I've been thinking about getting this job just so I can try and bust ass for a month or 2 and shed some pounds but idk if all this worth it hahaha. You make it seem fun though

Hey love, I was struggling od in the beginning too. It use to take me the entire day for like 30-50 deliveries, but like you said I got used to it. Learned some trick & then I was like sonic 🥵. & yeah this job be having me struggling w weight &food Bc you barely have time fr to have a good meal so I get that part.
