I’ve been in banking sector for a decade. CA’s via such programmes get the most exposure and access to better opportunities via networks they build and obviously what they have to offer. If I knew any better back in high school, I would have picked this as a career path

This just reminds me about everything I hate about corporate, namely fake smiles, old boy cliques and slave-like treatment. 2009 i quit my crappy media job right after being told how "cold it is out there". 10 short yrs of blood and sweat, 7 figure lump sum and 6 figure residual every month later, I'm picking and choosing which private bank to join. In your face but most importantly, thank you G-D!

Does age matter? I've seen most gaduate programmes in other fields only take 18-35 year Olds. However, I've never known whether that also applies in CA programmes. Another question, can one apply for this program before doing CTA? Im doing my first year of undergrad at the moment

The TOPP programme allows you to work in many parts of Investec. The programme includes rotations through private bank, Specialist Bank and our Wealth & Investment divisions.

Hi Latifa, applications for the CA Programme 2023 intake are closed. Applications for the CA Programme 2024 intake will open on 1 September 2022 and close 30 September 2022.
