Living in the forest of the Philippines, the guys here will take it one step further: They'll mill the logs into board lumber, right where they fall. Using 5' Stihl chainsaws, plumb bobs, chalk lines, and eagle eye accuracy, they can transform a tree into lumber, in under an hour. A few years back, our house needed a new roof. All the roof joists needed to be replaced. So my FIL gave us a mahogany tree. And the guys went to work. We got all the joists custom cut to fit, and total cost to me: Around $30, USD.

Yes. They were shown using 4 small dirt bikes to carry one large-ish log.
