Yea right i valet in bk ny when i was younger say 19. Our lot was 5 blocks away. We had cars waiting to get in the club for 6 blocks say 200 cars on friday night. And sat. When we ran out of spots. We parked on streets and wrote the info where the car is on the ticket. You jave to be very quick and calculated. 5 guys park 200 cars in an hour is like watching valet ballet. Until theres accidents lmao . We had a valet slam a brand new acura 3.5 type s. In blue. Into fire hydrant. Water everywhere. He skidded the car on turn. The stories a can tell yall. Are mind boggling.

30-40 cars an hour? No way. Being generous with 30 cars, thats only 120 seconds to Greet, take luggage, and find a spot to park?
@juliansowards60364 жыл бұрын
Joe Manfredi yup that’s why you have a full staff. So it all gets done in 5-10 minutes mostly due to the luggage runs.

Location: Detroit, company: park rite, rating: 1 I'll be showing this to my co-workers for reference, i tend to get frowned upon from my valet coworkers for completing these steps successfully. Even tho Ive shared these steps with them i see this is what they don't want to do. It frustrates me because my supervisors is just as bad. Horse play lolly gagging no sense of urgency or hospitality. Hopefully i still have a job with the company because the supervisor called the police on me for telling the full shift these things and all they responded with is i listen to the supervisor not me. The supervisor told me to leave and i refused because i need to work. Why am i being targeted for successfully completing the job and encouraging my peers to do the same? I'm just saying the company i been working at, for 50 days don't enforce all of these and it reflects in the tips.

You call security. You let the guest know that you will be releasing the car (as it is illegal to hold someones property) and you inform the guest that if they choose to drive away security will be notifying local police with description of car and plates.
@abraham50sd2 жыл бұрын
In my company under no exception would we give the keys back to a drunk car owner, most of the time we would call them an Uber or Lyft and we would write a report at the end of the day saying how much I spent on an Uber and said reason for using an Uber, and then we would get reimbursed plus an extra 5 dollars.
