When I very first started out things would go wrong and I would get SOO upset … it’s crazy that after I found your channel I started to respond better to situations. I can hear “it’s just part of the adventure” in my head 💕

Awe! We love that!! Don’t love that you went through hard times, but so love that you shared how your mindset has changed. They’re just little bumps on the road that make for some great stories, right?! 😊

Yachats is such a cute town. In Florence stop by the All about Olive store in Old downtown Florence. And eat at Pono Hukilau. The best food!!

Really enjoying this chapter of your journey because next summer I'm planning a two week camp from here in WY down the Oregon coast. Just found out my son is totally down to come with me on it, which I'm thrilled for! We'll still be in an Outback and now he has a Tacoma. Was pretty pleased with my car set up last summer, so excited to see how we can do on a little longer trip. Long term plan is a van the summer after next! Actually thinking we'll go from here to Bellingham to see friends then head down the coast from there. Might need three weeks!

That's awesome! You're going to have a blast on the Oregon coast. The drive is beautiful and there's so much to see and do. Also so amazing to have the opportunity to travel with your son. Take as much time as you can. You’ll make the best memories!

We go down that road every month. We camp at Honeyman State Park for a week in a half from October to May. When we are not out of state. We ride with some older friends. One of them just celebrated their 84th birthday. The rest are all around the same age. They all ride on quads. Very inspirational.

That’s so awesome!! We hope to be able to do that when we’re that age. Heck, we’d love to do that now at half the age. Thanks so much for sharing. Definitely inspirational!

Airing down is always a huge help when going off road, but most people don't do it because they find it a pain with their current setups. Good job on getting the van out.

Oh, thanks so much! That is so incredibly kind of you! Unfortunately, we are out of Oregon for now and in Northern California. We hope to come back either next Spring or Fall and would love to meet up. Sounds fun!

Absolutely. That’s one of the first things we do anytime we put it in 4WD. We should have aired down before though, and laziness go the best of us. 😂

I may be wrong but it seems like your doggy spends most of the time in the van alone! As a dog lover it upsets me!
@AdventureOutThere2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the concern for our pup, but your assumptions couldn’t be further from the truth. Of course we can’t take him into shops or where we eat, but we spend 90% of the time with him. Most of it outside in our constantly changing beautiful surroundings for him to explore. He couldn’t have a better life. 🥰
