My younger daughter just furnished most of her new (but old) house from the FREE section online. The town is fairly fancy, and owners are "We have an old oak dining room table and matching chairs, you move it you own it!" Also, this desk, that is heavenly, but HEAVY. Now it lives in the office room and when you have the roll top down, none of the drawers will open! (plus secret drawers). People don't want to go to the bother of moving anything, and the thrift stores won't pick stuff up.

I'd never heard of you until I saw you in a couple of The Crazy Lamp Lady's recent videos. When this video popped up in my feed, I watched it because I had seen you in Jocelyn's video. Your vast wealth of knowledge is very impressive. Now I'm a new subscriber. Also, I'm a native Floridian now living in Sebring. I love the area but the thrift store options leave a lot to be desired. It's fun to see what nearby areas have to offer.

That is a wonderful show, but I have muscular dystrophy and now that I'm in a wheelchair, I can't get over the terrain anymore. I have a lot of great memories from going there, though.

Hi George! Watching while I wait on the ambulance. I liked the portrait plate. I liked the Syracuse Maple Leaf dinnerware, but Salem China made a Maple Leaf pattern of which I'd really like to have a set. Some of the smaller bells interested me. I have a small bell that has a sterling silver cob of corn as the handle. Ambulance is about to leave hospital, so I'm off. Looks like it was fun shopping.

I really like Syracuse, such good quality! I rarely see Salem's version. I liked the small bells too, some true antique ones which was nice. A corn cob in sterling, that's great! I'm glad to hear mom's coming home.

The long case clock may be a 18th-19th century Swedish piece. The clockmaker's name is certainly Swedish. The painted decoration is a characteristic feature of Scandinavian furniture from those centuries. A rather rare piece here in the US. At the right price it could be a great find.

The name of the grandfather clock Oluf Falk, the cross all points in the direction of Denmark. The name OLUF is Danish, the cross is a Danish knights cross (perhaps even Templar). But not much pops up when searching those criteria. Beautiful piece and I am sure a bargain price as I would think this clock is worth several thousand.

I'm a total estate sale junkie. I learned really quickly if I want something really bad to get theres really early and bring my charging back up, snacks and my tote bag to fill up. Many people are really cool at these sales but you get a few rude pushy people who think they can bully everyone to get what they want.

I have that exact stained glass lampshade (14:22). The lamp base mine is on is a little nicer IMO. And I have a matching torchiere floor lamp to go with it. I got them in the late 90’s and love them even though they’re not old.

Things like how he made a coffee pot keep the coffee voter for a longer time. Why couldn't I have had a cousin who was a girl.

Like? What? I wished her a broken toe when she tripped over it.
