Ray had a big smile at the end of that fishing day. Especially after he got his pint. Thanks again

Brilliant. I liked the way Raymondo disguised the vodka in a water bottle. Haha. Love these vids!

I have been up there a couple of times, taking groups of German tourists to the Eagle's Nest. Always wondered whether those lochans were any good for fishing! Dankeschön

Sehr schoen! So when you cast from the lakeshore do you pull the flies back in towards you or do you leave them drift for a while? I fish rivers mostly, where there is a current. I am not sure what I should do on a lake. The lake where you got the sea trout must be connected to the sea somehow, oder? Danke, Martin.
@DietrichBohnhorst4 жыл бұрын
Danke, Martin. You move the flies through the water to make them look alive, speed and depth varying. The lake has a wee stream connecting it to a river. Take care and stay safe.

Were's your tag for that nice sea trout ????
@callumclark33584 жыл бұрын
I may be wrong, but I don't think tags were a thing in 2002.
@raftonpounder66964 жыл бұрын
Callum Clark I can’t speak for the Republic but we had them in Northern Ireland back then.

Tags were introduced in 2001, I think, but only for sea trout over 42 cm in length.
@callumclark33584 жыл бұрын
I checked on that, I was wrong, guessed the ST must have been under size.
