A day out in Chichester with friends ♥ | Canal walk | Cathedral | Flowers | Market ♥

What a lovely day! We took the train to Chichester and met up with Elaine and Ron at the Canal for a lovely stroll before heading into town to get some lunch. Then we went on to the Cathedral where they were holding a Festival and Market of Flowers. We didn't go into the Cathedral this time but the market had some interesting things all set up in an indoor marquee. We visited The Bishops Gardens which was so beautiful at this time of year with some wonderful flowers. Finally, of course, we headed to get a nice cup of tea at The Buttery, which is part of the Cathedral before heading home. It was a great day with beautiful weather.

Hi Lynn Richard and Ky what a lovely day you had it is lovely by the canal so tranquil and restful. Then the walk around the cathedral gardens they are something else and they have a Mulberry tree there and when the fruit is ready they are lovely to eat. Then of course the flower market what wonderful flowers there was there glad you had a good day see you on your next trip out take care best wishes Fiona x❤

Thank you Fiona, I agree the canal is just that ❤ and it was such a lovely day weather wise, we were very lucky. The gardens are really special and so so pretty. Such a beautifully told story of your day in Chichester. We had a holiday in the area a couple of years ago and did much as you. I remember the cathedral and the gardens, but I wasn't into video making at that time. Great piece of story telling and excellent camera work. One to be proud of! I loved Ky on the train going home, with her/his head on the seat, as if to say," Please can I come up there with you, because I'm tired ". Sorry, but I don't know if Ky is male or female. Could you please put me straight on that one?

Nice to see Chi featuring in a video! I went on that boat for a cream tea cruise with my walking group. It does not go very far and it was a really rainy day - nicer to walk as you did. Is the flower show a regular thing or a one off? I also hear there are peregrine falcons nesting on the cathedral spire at present. Looks like you all had a great day out! Including Ky!!

I looked up to see if I could see them Jean, but not this time. I have seen them in the past. I think today they had a peregrine watch going on there. The flower festival is on in the cathedral and I think that's why they had the flower market to compliment it. Shame about your cruise, I'd love to do that but for some reason no dogs; despite them being allowed at Loxwood. Shame, real shame, they need to get up to speed as far as being dog friendly is concerned ... in my opinion 🥴 Thanks so much for watching, see you on Monday 🥰
