Having lived very near Chichester I loved this video. Is always a brilliant place to take visitors. I agree about the importance of looking UP. The Bishops Garden is lovely with some amazing trees, views of the Cathedral and a section of the wall easily accessible. Thanks.

Have a good friend in UK who is planning to visit Chichester in the coming month so I thought it would at least make me look good to learn something about it, and upon remembering Richard lives in Sussex, he seemed like the most likely suspect to have some content worth looking at. 🙂

Great video Richard, dont know how I managed to miss this one. In February this year my wife and I had reason to visit Chichester Registry office and in the reception area there was a large rack of old and ancient reproduction maps of Chichester and the surrounding areas and if memory serves me correctly, they were FREE to take although they did ask for a donation for the printing costs etc,. Im pretty sure that you would find them fascinating, I had meant to mention it before but somehow it had slipped my mind till today when I found this video. Im pretty sure you would find them fascinating, although you may well already know about them.

Gosh, it's hard choosing a top 10 in Chichester, there is so much to choose from. So many ancient churches squeezed into odd little places, the cathedral precincts, the museum, even the railway station is a bit quirky!

“Must see”? It’s shyte. Best thing in ‘Chi’ is St Wilfreds Charity shop, which pretty much says it all. Surely you want more from life than walking around a cathedral etc. Chichester is the type of place that breeds depression, as is the entire UK tbh

I think if you are going to pronounce such a bald, negative sentiment on this platform you should back it up with some reason or fact to support your opinion, in order that your readership could have some basis to make up their own minds about whether your brief and apparently unfounded statement has any merit.
