They say nature can heal the soul. An environment for self reflection, calm and perhaps even peace. Due to Melbourne’s long series of on-and-off-again lockdowns, I’ve found myself rediscovering the river walk in my home town in the outer western suburbs.
I'm looking for fresh air, space for my thoughts, and perhaps even meditate on my world for a minute or two.
2021 has been a bit of hard year for me. Between COVID-19 lockdowns and the deaths of family members and family friends, life has felt a little uneven.
I’ve been finding solace in nature. I’m not usually a nature fanboy, but with the return of spring this year, I’ve noticed that being in nature (and getting some rays of sunshine) really do help lift my mood.
But it’s also given me some perspective on where my life is right now.
