Why aren't you using any type of geolation? If that driver had shared his location with the dispatcher for real time tracking, the dispatcher would've known exactly where he was. Any type of location sharing would do: Google Maps, WhatsApp...

Let's say you have 5 trucks you are responsible for as an independent. 2 have loads. 1 is waiting to unload. 2 trucks are open, waiting for a load. You are scheduled to get on a plane at 7:30 and will be in the air for 3 hours. What do you do? How do you go on vacation.
