Drivers really don't respect you, they are only nice because you control the runs. 5. Know how to lie well. Bonus: everything else is ON-ThE -Job Training.

I am sorry that this is the experience you had with dispatchers, but in my experience I have never met a dispather that lies to his driver. It's not logical, he would lose his client. Plus, for smooth operations, you need to make sure that your driver is filled in with all the details.

@@trucking42.school well then, your the exception to the Rule. Even as a Breakdown coordinator. The dispatchers tell the drivers to ignore the signs of breakdown issues and continue to the receiver; then they breakdown and blame the driver to the Receiver. If these are not your dispatcher, then you folks are truly, 1 in a Million. The rest are losers.

I'm new to this; but because my husband is truck driver,I'd like to try to be dispatcher. I went to one company and was in training for three days, and boss let me go because I was to slow learner. So should i keep trying with different companies maybe they will give me time ?

Lying to drivers is not a smart move as a dispatcher. You put yoursef in trouble as well. I am sorry you had such a dispatcher. In our company it's against policy
